We stayed here one night before our flight! Location good for airport, close to beach. Rooms fairly good, might do with refurbishment. Cleanliness was not on the highest standard. Wi-Fi not available in rooms, but it is common in cheaper hotels in Thailand. Breakfast was not good, do not recommend.

Overall: good/average for the value and one night stay.

Despite being a stones throw away from the airport, this resort is quiet. The rooms are more like mini bungalows as they not only have a spacious bedroom and on suite shower room, you also have a sitting/dining room with a kitchenette area and your own balcony with patio furniture. Nicely decorated with some lovely touches, paintings, bed runner extra cushions, a chaise lounge in the sitting/dining area ,dressing gowns, complimentary toothbrushes and combs along with soap shampoo shower gel and if you like a local tipple there's a choice in the mini bar! There is a pool of a reasonable size, if like me you like to do a few laps. There is an on site restaurant with a good choice of breakfast and meals at reasonable prices. The staff are very helpful and the whole site is well cared for, to be honest for the price it's a bargain. The beach is 10 minutes walk away, do watch out for the uneven/broken pavements and keep to one sued down the alley way as this is also used by mopeds and motorbikes (not a problem as they keep to a low speed). If you have time do explore the beach as the waters are crystal clear, with lovely sandy beach especially the area beyond the restaurants and shops, where the national park area starts.
The shops range from tourist trinkets to hand painted silk and your sure to find an eatery to suit your taste at a reasonable rate.

This resort is extremely close to airport. Just 10 mins away. Stayed there for 1 day due to my 8am flight the next day. The staffs were very polite. A very simple and relaxing place. It feels like somewhere free of worries. I feel the bed was not as hard as some other reviews mentioned. It's definitely one to consider if you want to stay somewhere near to the airport to catch an early filght.

Very nice hotel, a 2 room apartment with kitchen! Nice pool and balcony. A little bit to walk to the beach and restaurants. We only stayed 1 night, near to the airport but we may stay longer next time. Good value for the money.

Stayed at kasalong for one night as a stop over for the next days flight(which was great because the airport was only 5 mins away). The resort was a little run down. The beds were a bit like sleeping on a concrete slab and there was something wrong with the plumbing. However the service made up for it. We had breakfast there on the morning that we left and even though it was no buffet style it was still very yummy. We were told by another couple that there was some beautiful beaches near by, however we didnt get a chance to check them out and you cannot see them from the resort. Overall we were happy with our stay as a stop over however for more than that we would stay somewhere a bit closer to shops and restaurants.
