“Good”
Reviewed May 11, 2013

Been to Desi Masala a few times now visited with family and friends .You have to take your own alcohol which is great as you can take your favourite drink .The last time I visited was April this year the staff weren't as cheerful as previous maybe having an off day :-) .The food was great as always, but some of friends didn't think so .But all in all a good night

“Pre cooked bland food”
Reviewed May 10, 2013 via mobile

What a shame after reading all the reviews on here me and my partner decided to give it a try what a mistake we made or shud i say my mistake.i booked a table for a friday nite at 7 when we arrived there where a few diners there looked like a nice atmosphere i was wrong when seated to table the by the waiter we were giving the menu an nothing furter was asked an he walked away they afta a short while hw returned an asked for our order not if we were ready or not?so we placed our oreder i got the seekh kebabs my partner opted for onion bhajis when..the staters took sime time arriving when they did they were dissapointing my stater was still like if it was frozen very hard an bland not fresh at all on the bhajis were nit very nice to.when the waiter asked if everything was ok i said no he just picked up the plates an walked off again.. i was dreding to think what the mains are gonna be like i was right aswell afta another while the mains arrived by the same waiter by then he smealt of B.O and smoke.the main didnt look very appetizing just lumbs of chicken in sum thick gulby sauce an my partners was the same we didnt have much left the plates an asked for the bill by which time the maneger/owner came over asked if everything was ok? told him about the quality of the food and not being fresh which he diasagreed and said all over food is freshly cooked daily what a lie ive been to many indians an i no what pre cooked food is like..we paid the bill an left never to return again when there are many better restaurants in morley like amaans and we actually went there after leaving desi masala had a luvly meal

“Always a pleasure”
Reviewed April 8, 2013

We've been eating here regularly more or less since it opened and we've never been disappointed. Small but perfectly formed! The menu is extensive, the food good and value for money with service attentive but not intrusive. And it's a BYO (so you can bring your own alcoholic drink according to your taste). All in all, a good dining experience.
