A great exprience for all ages - we are a family of five, 3 boys ages 13, 10 and 4. The day began with a trip to the local market where we got to ask tones of questions and together with Ying picked the products for our dishes. Then she drove us to her lovely home where they grow cocunts and herbs. Then we started cooking, each of us making our own dish and learning to prepare real cocnut milk and curry. The dishes were tasty and each one was able to season according to his taste. Ying was very patient, clear and knowlagable about every possible question we had, the cooking area is kept very clean through out the whole class and having lunch together at her back yard was great fun for all of us. The feeling was homy and personal .We are already a few months after our trip and we still cherich the day we spent with her. Thanks Ying!!

Great morning, lovely Thai cooking teacher and amazing lunch in Koh Samui. We thank Ying for making us feel so welcome in her own house and for all the Thai knowledge she teached us not only about cooking but specially about the food and the ingredients.

We have just experienced one of the friendliest Thai cooking classes we have ever done, about four now, it was a great day, great hospitality and a fantastic family. We started with the market tour which again is an eye opener and a learning experience. Your parents are great and we would like to thank you for allowing our family into your home. We will visit again. Wiggle Wiggle.

We were introduced to this place via a local travel agency, and we're very glad we took time to visit Ying and her cooking school. We started the day by visiting the local market, where we learnt about some of the common ingredients used in Thai cooking, and then learned to cook 4 dishes, which included 3 main dishes and a Thai dessert. Ying was an excellent teacher and guide throughout the day. If you're in Koh Samui and want to learn some authentic Thai cooking, be sure to check this place!

My sister and I were fortunate enough to come across Ying's cooking class in the first day of our Thailand trip. When we were presented the opportunity to cook with Ying in her local area of Koh Samui we couldn't resist. Our incredible day experience included, transfers to and from our hotel, a visit to the local market, not only to collect ingredients for our chosen meals, but, to meet local people and learn about various types of local produce. From here we arrived at Ying's home. We met her beautiful family and cats and soon after we were cooking our menu of 4 dishes. Ying was a brilliant teacher, always smiling, laughing and accommodating. This was definitely the highlight of our trip and an experience we will never forget. All you need is your camera and an empty stomach! :)
