We came down to go for a walk and also to view the Salmon during one of its big years. The colours along the trails were great. They also had booths set up for eating, and our lunch was pretty good. We walked through the other booths as well and viewed them..

There is one suggestion I would like to make however. The name has changed at the main gate..which is fine..but can the original name of Roderick Haig Brown be added underneath the new name? We noticed sometimes people were confused...and incorporating a native name is good..perhaps the old one could be added beaneath?

This is a great location to see the fabled Adams River sockeye return to spawn. Plenty of parking and information provided by signage, BC Parks, volunteers and First Nations during the run. Easy stroll through the woods on hard surfaced trails to a great viewing platform and many trails that branch off along the way and at the river. Great park set-up and well worth the visit.

Visited during early part of salmon run. There are great trails to hike and visit throughout the park. The volunteer park docents were helpful and informative.

Lovely park with multiple walking trails. They have a look out platform over a part of the river, to view the Salmon Runs. Outhouse was clean. Definitely a nice area to go out for a stroll.

The trails are so serene and you make you get back to nature. They are easy to walk and scenic. This is an educational stop for all ages and the Adams River Salmon Society have an Interpretive Centre. You must add this park on your places to see this Fall, especially during the Salmon run.
