The food here is delicious. They have vegetarian options which are not a poor relation to the meat and fish dishes as can be the case in France. The environment is warm, friendly, candle-lit, spacious and feels like fine dining but without a huge bill at the end.
Everything is freshly prepared, the seating is comfortable and the staff are really friendly. Nothing is rushed, staff have the time to listen and explain/ recommend/ describe and you feel as if you have been out for a treat.

Superb dinner on a warm August evening in the garden. We had the Petit Leon menu (there's no a la carte menu), which was excellent. (You have to decide on your dessert at the start of the meal.) Booking recommended - many people were turned away.

Great french food made by a new-zealand cook ... Not expensive and absolutely marvellous. We came back two days after to enjoy more of this place ...

Only open I the summer, but well worth a visit. Staff and proprietary are delightful. Food a little pricey but delicious. Setting gorgeous.
