Awesome location, clean and friendly place. Any closer and you'd be in the water. Meals where good, breakfast buffet had heaps of options. Room big clean and tidy. Free wifi. Service good with helpful tipson how to see the island. Dining on the shore front was extremely relaxing - could have sat there all day!

Did not stay at the hotel but ate in the restaurant on the seafront. The set menu had three choices of starter and main and a selection of deserts. At 18 euros the value was superb but the quality of the food and the service was of a level I would expect at a much higher price. I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone.

Moved into the Hotel as it had air con during a very humid 2 week breakaway as our rented apartment had none. (A discovered neccesity during the summer) The Decor is a little dated, but the staff are helpful and it's in a great location right on the bay's edge. Nice small pool on the roof, we had a valley room which backed onto the main parking area but was quiet. The rooms facing the bay are bigger, but pricier. The sunsets though are divine.

The friendly and supportive staff made our stay very pleasant by identifying our needs before we even mentioned anything. The vicinity to the seaside is great and breakfast is a pleasure not only because of the delicious items but accompanying that is the view of the sea and surrounding cliffs. We needed some time to relax completely from our day to day commitments and this was the break we needed to fuel us up again. Thanks for everything

I would have liked to have an indoor or outdoor swimming pool for times when the sea is crowded.

Room Tip: Choose the ones with country views as you don't have to pay a lot as it is not a sea view and ye...

Just returned from a great week here..and have no complaints..

Fantastic time and the hotel was great. Big airy room overlooking the sea.

Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. They were very experienced.

Great little bathing pool and jacuzzi on roof...very peaceful.

Definitely recommend.

We stayed here last year, having read the reviews here and in particular the recommendation to get the rooms with the sea view. We would not have stayed here, or in any hotel, if we had not those views. We rang up and booked for two nights, making sure that we were getting a room overlooking the sea. We got that room, and stayed a further two nights after the first night.

It was not cheap, and we could have got a better quality hotel for cheaper. The hotel is pretty ordinary. It's clean but dated. It needs to be freshened up. If it didn't have the view it would not be worth going to. Also, the choice of beers on draught was non-existent. Cisk, or, well, Cisk. There's room for huge improvement there. They need somebody with a passion for beers of the world who can make the hotel first rate in this regard.

But what a view! The hotel is in a gorgeous cove and as you look out from your room at night you can see lights going up a cliff path on the right. Beautiful scene. We were in a front seaview room on the third floor. It surpassed all our expectations. It wasn't merely a seaview. When you opened your balcony doors you hear it, you smell it, you see it - 10 metres away! We had never been to such a place. We kept the doors open all night listening to the waves. We could have stayed there forever. If we can get that room again, we will be back next summer.

Summary: very ordinary hotel, but if you can get the front sea view bedrooms, your stay should be very exceptional.

Recently I have stayed in a Sea View room at the St Patrick's.

The room was just OK to have somewhere to sleep. I say this because firstly the hotel in general had very dated furniture, very dated bathroom with just a curtain in bath. The room was not very well cleaned - example: bathroom window was filthy. Also, I was very disappointed that there is no cooked breakfast. Now this is an issue 1 because the price paid to stay in the hotel on BB basis is not cheap, 2, I have never been in a 4* star hotel that did not serve cooked breakfast, even 3* hotels do for that matter.

Now, other than this, I must say that this hotel is in a fantastic location, probably one of the best if not the best location in Gozo if you want somewhere with a breath taking sea view. Air conditioning was even on before we got there, that was a very nice touch and majority of the staff are very nice and made us feel welcome.

All in all I would say the hotel is the worst 4* I have been in, worse than 3* rated hotels. It really needs some funds invested as a matter of priority to keep up with the times, remove the old, rusty door knobs, upgrade from a shower curtain, put down some decent carpets, be able to serve much better breakfast etc.

Allow us to thank you for your kind comments regarding the location of our hotel, the coolness of our rooms and the hospitality of our staff.

We would like to point out that we DO in fact serve cooked breakfast to all guests who ask for it. We have chosen not to serve it on our buffet to ensure a higher quality of presentation. However, anybody wishing for a cooked breakfast may have one by placing an order with a member of the restaurant staff and their breakfast will be made there and then for them.

Your comments about the cleanliness in your bathroom have been noted and steps have been taken to avoid similar incidents reoccurring.

Yours sincerely
