plenty of eating places to choose from, quite noisy as it is very popular but the walk around the cliff is great. After sundown, sea birds which if I am not mistaken are Cory's Shearwater, can be heard calling as they fly around the cliffs.

We arrived by bus from Victoria, although it was very windy and even the boats weren't venturing out on that day, lots of restaurants to choose from, good for just sitting and watching the world go by, didn't swim as it was too rough but it looked very inviting.

Wonderful scenery, safe swimming (as long as the jelly fish are out playing elsewhere) good diving, boat & Canoe hire, terrific walks and ancient watch tower, The best restaurants & Bars including Ta' Karolna top rated on trip advisor.
All of this and more for the tourist, yet this is also still a fishing vllage with plenty of locals to learn from.

This place has it all...charm, beautiful coves, secluded rocks to sunbathe, calm waters to swim in, exceptional restaurants especially pirates galley, devious ice cream...choose this area to stay if visiting...

Xlendi is the perfect place to stay. The ferry from Malta to Gozo Island (just to the North) is a short trip and the local bus takes you to this beautiful bay just minutes from the harbour. Swimming in these crystal clear waters is a pleasure and there are many places to relax and enjoy the sunsets in the evening. It is a place where you can put "the cherry on the top" of your holiday. The nice thing about its location is that the Hop-on Hop-off busses frequent this bay as a routine stop, so you have access to seeing the whole island with all the other small towns and attractions which include "The Assure Window" which is most magnificent. There are many little fish restaurants on the promenade which offer great views of the bay and its activities. The St Patricks Hotel (right on the waters edge) is good value for money and the facilities and décor is outstanding. If you want a balcony room, it is advisable to book in advance. I can recommend that a three day stay is about right unless you are an ardent scuba diver.
