“A warm, romantic restaurant”
Reviewed April 19, 2013

Rebekah's is in a lovely building made from the warm creamy pink stone so common on Malta. There's an inside and an outside area, so you can choose based on the weather. The menu is varied with a standard a la carte plus specials of the day. Staff are knowledgeable and charming. Service is attentive and unhurried (in a good way). Food was first class. It's tricky to find so make sure you've got a map. They offered to collect us from our hotel.

“Incredible Food + Service”
Reviewed April 11, 2013

it would take too long to explain how good this restaurant was when i went for a meal on the 4th. The staff were so attentive and the owner was so kind and warming, didn't eat anywhere else on Malta that even slightly measured up. 5*

“Would go again”
Reviewed April 9, 2013

Ideal for a romantic night out or for business dinners, Rebekah's is situated in a house, which has been converted to accommodate a restaurant. This place is situated in a relatively secluded area of Mellieħa, and it might not be easy to find it unless one knows the surroundings a bit well. So I suggest asking for directions upon booking. But parking space is not a problem.

Seating is placed in the different rooms available. In each room there are around 3 to 4 tables so overall it is quite quiet and intimate. Also, the setting is very cosy with dim lightening and fireplaces.

Choice on the menu is quite refined so you might find that unusual dish but everyone should find something to their liking. I had ravioli filled with lobster. It did not really meet my expectations but I think this is just a matter of taste not because it was bad. In fact, my friends had Chateaubriand, and it was very good. We also had a starter and desserts, which were also appetizing. Presentation of food definitely cannot go unnoticed because it is done in an exceptional way.

Waiting staff is amicable, professional and efficient. At the end of our meal we were also offered a complementary drink.

Prices are relatively expensive but I don’t think they are overpriced for the whole experience in this fine dining restaurant.

I would like to pay another visit to this restaurant to try out something different and there is no reason why I should not recommend it.

“A Fantastic Treat!”
Reviewed April 5, 2013

I'd read the reviews for this restaurant before we went and we decided early on this would be the place we made the effort to go to. We weren't disappointed!
The decor is rustic and authentic. Actually quite romantic. There were only couples present but I can imagine it also being a great place for a special family meal. The service impeccable from the word 'go' and the food delicious!
The complimentary fresh bread and amuse bouche were a really nice way to start the evening.
To start we had the risotto and the chorizo pasta. Both HUGE dishes.
The menu is quite varied with traditional, and some more unusual, dishes. My partner favouring the traditional went for a lamb shank main, myself being the more unusual of the two went for the Kangeroo. Both main meals were again fantastic.
Portion sizes, unlike in some restaurants, were not an issue. They were large, mains served with vegetables and potatoes and therefore we had no room for pudding! Make sure you arrive hungry!

We paid around 70 euros for 2 starters, 2 mains, small 1/2 bottle of wine and a large bottle of water.

A little out of our price range to eat every night BUT the very best place for a lovely treat! Would recommend calling in the day before or phoning them to make a reservation. there were a couple of tables spare but this was midweek and out of season.

We enjoyed it very much and though we probably won't stay in Mellieha if we visit Malta again, we would definitely go out of our way to visit Rebekah's again!
