My wife and I have a time share at the resort and love the way we can feel away from the hustle and bustle of busy town hotels and also sit on our balcony watching others enjoying the secluded beach, the amenities allow us to join as much as we want when we want, we can look after ourselves, have room service or eat in one of the many restraunts at a fair cost.we are now in our 5th year and our only complaint is slightly over attention by the staff, but thats probably just us.

Room Tip: ask for seaveiw

I feel i must write this review to let everyone know what a lovely place the radisson blue resort is.Me and my wife stayed there again in 2011.for the 6th time, and we just cannot fault the place, the staff are so courteous and.helpful.The rooms are spacious, .spotlessly clean.and the food is excellent..(although sometimes a bit pricey.).so is the small onsite shop..It has one of the best pool areas i have seen, with lots of comfy beds, and beautiful views. There is a courtesy bus that will take you to several places for a small charge. Not forgetting the lovely private part of the beach,(sunbeds provided )with water sports. All in all a great place. We will be returning again in 2012 for a bit more indulgence.

Room Tip: country view has lovely sunsets.

I just love this hotel, the food, the location and the facilities. The weather for the most part has been very kind, but we do go out of season and so do take a chance and must say have never yet been disappointed. The island is very easy to get around and the quiet location of the Radisson Blu is a great quiet base, lovely to come back to after a busy day. The Spa facilities are fantastic (the treatments are a tad pricey for myself) but the heated indoor pool etc are just lovely. Im saving for an extra special visit when i WILL have a treatment or two, go all out and pamper myself! Well... i do deserve it! Yes there are sometimes maintenance jobs being done, but then how else do we expect the hotel to keep up great standards and i must say from my experience, have never found any work to be intrusive or disruptive. You wont be disappointed, just enjoy.

If you have kids - this is the best place to take them! Their kids club is the best I have seen so far. The rooms were excellent, clean and very large. We had a `country view' room tho. The staff were so polite and very helpful. My son was ill and they for a doctor to come and see him in very little time. Very efficient. It is a bit out but they had a free courtesy bus to take you to the city and also ferry. Malta is a very beautiful old sleepy country! Highly recommend.

Room Tip: Sea view rooms are better. The country rooms are a bit boring as there is nothing to see.

My wife and I stayed here for 4 nights. It is a beautiful hotel in a mgnificent location overlooking one of the few beaches in Malta. The hotel (resort) was noticably quiet, and although some maintance work was ongoing, it was totally unobtrusive. We stayed in a studio with country views, (best suited at this time of year to escape the prevaling N/NW wind). The room was well equiped and everything was of a high standard. We ordered breakfast delivered to our room, and while I admit to being quite a big eater, the cooked breakfast although superb proved to large for me. We booked the"Maltese" buffet for an evening meal in one of the many inhouse resturants, and where quite amazed to find that initially we shared the exceptionaly large resturant with only one other couple. A party of approx 30 Maltese arrived later and where accomodated in a corner creating a strange atmosphere. The food was again excellent, protraying some of the best elements of Maltese cuisine. The hotel run a shuttle service to most popular locations on the island and do so at a reasonable cost. We travelled as part of a deal which included a time share presentation, therefor our costs where diminished..........
This hotel is extremely well presented and at this time of year, gives quality seclusion.

Room Tip: The studio room in which we stayed contains a large double bed and a double 'studio' couch and would suit a young family of 4. Sea view rooms have a stunning vista, but at this time of year are subject to quite a strong cooling wind. Local transport is extremely cheap but make sure you obtain an island map which includes the bus route numbers.
