This is a relatively small sanctuary but has some attractive religious artifacts and some moving letters dedicated to miracles of Our Lady. There are some photographs of its excavation and construction of the platform for Pope John Paul II's visit. There is no fee to enter, but there is the opportunity to buy gifts from a small shop and leave donations.
Allow around half an hour to visit and take in the views of Mellieha Bay. The sanctuary entrance is near the first bus stop when entering Mellieha village from the Mellieha Bay direction at the top of the hill.
