This beach, called Ghadira, is unique for Malta. It is the only sand beach where you can go out fifty feet and the water is still up to your waist. It is probably the safest. It is very close to buses, restaurant and now, lots of chairs and umbrellas. Enjoy.

A lovely small beach. It doesn’t have the clearest water like some of the others. Far fewer jelly fish though.

Small beach really, about a ten minute walk from our hotel.

Not the greatest beach, but was adequate really. The little on enjoyed it anyway.

Lots of sun beds and parasols for hire, not sure how much as we didn't get one. But quite busy for October....

The beach was awful, no sand at all. Horrible grey/black looking sea. We stayed in October 2018 and there was a lot of seaweed washed up, couldn't see any sand for miles.

Exciting nightlife with bars and clubs, full of young people. Had a great time. Nice place to walk around.

Our travel company placed us here as a base to tour Malta. It is too much out of the way for more than a long weekend. The area is dilapidated and needs freshened up and investment from the tourism tax levied from all tourists. 40 years ago it was probably the biz. Now it is tired and low grade.

Good beach with clean water. The sea is shallow what makes this place good for kids. Much better than the Golden Bay.

Very enjoyable, lovely scenery, beautiful beach and clear water
Ideal for swimming and diving. Beach side bars and restaurants all reasonably priced.

A nice little beach with a great view of mellieha Bay, there are deckchairs for hire and a couple of bar / snack places, it was quiet when we were there
