“Lovely blue water, small secluded beach”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

You can hire umbrella and sun-loungers and be there all day swimming, snorkelling and enjoying yourself. Restaurants are good, fair amount of people but not as crowded as other beaches in Malta. Car park and stairs down to the beach. Not far from small ferry port to Gozo and Comino Island. Recommended beach.

“Perfect clean beach with great restaurant”
Reviewed August 25, 2013

Holidayed here in August. The lido offers sunbeds and parasol but you can find a place for yourself on the sand. It was very crowded in high season but the sea is cristal clear and staff are pleasant. There is a great restaurant offering fresh BBQ fish and local dishes, burgers - very tasty and plentiful!

“Steps down to beach”
Reviewed August 25, 2013

Another clean beach with restaurants and facilities with again option to higher sunbeds etc. Tiered patio area with a couple of steps from there onto beach which is sandy but be carful with younger children as lots of stones beneath the water and you wade out along way before you can swim.

“No longer paradise”
Reviewed August 24, 2013

I last came here about 12 years ago, when I returned last week I was very disappointed.. cramped beach with sunbeds everywhere, litter all over the beach, rocks and in the water and a massive lido with dance music pumping out all day. Worst of all, there was a broken drinking glass on the beach that no one had bothered to pick up. The lido should be made to tidy the rubbish off the beach. We stayed about 30 minutes as the bits of plastic in the sea kept wrapping around my arm. Filthy, I'll avoid from now on.

“Too busy”
Reviewed August 14, 2013

A lot of young Italians that get in your way. Not my idea of a fun day out! Personally there are nicer places
