I went with my partner and 2 teenage boys. The rooms were fine we could had a good view of the pool and beach. The food was bland in taste but at least they had a three restaurants because we had bed and breakfast included and the buffet dinner wasn't cheap so we didn't try that restaurant, the breakfast was ok they mainly had sausage, bacon, baked beans and different types of bread. We have no problem in going there again. I only wish they had more pool sticks and other games for kids at night. The bus stop is across the road so we had no problem in getting around.

This hotel is ok, its nothing special though. Nice pool, right next to gozo ferry, great snorkelling a stones throw away. To stay here you would really need a car to get most of area, bit stuck in no mans land with constant traffic to/from ferry terminal. Foods not bad and entertainment ok. Would stay here again course but it doesn't have the wow factor you look for.

we travelled as a couple in the height of the season from august 1st for 2 weeks. We expected the hotel to be busy, it was, but, with the addition of day visitors it was at times too busy. The Maltese people are lovely and friendly but loud!! One suggestion for the manager would be to have a separate pool for day tickets, (there are enough pools to do this).Day tickets also made the small car park fill up quickly. A supervisor in the dining room would also be an asset, as this was sometimes very hit and miss, we had to wait many times for clean cutlery and crockery. We squeezed fresh oranges into the insipid orange juice from the machine to make it palatable. The local bread was so delicious we filled up on that. We only stayed B&B and ate out every day for lunch and dinner in Melleiha, where there are very good restaurants to suit all budgets. We have holidayed in different countries in Europe and in Malta many times, this is not a 4 star hotel in our opinion. Unfortunately, it has to be said, leadership is lacking in many areas of this hotel.

Room Tip: make you book a bay room, the view is fantastic.

I am please to hear your opinion of our bay view room but I am sorry to hear that the volume of our local market that spend the day with us using our pools and having lunch in the main restaurant was considered to be an intrusion. Whilst this custom is not busy during the week the demand is quite busy for the Sunday's and Monday's to which we do restrict the numbers attending, we do have such large sun terraces that we are mostly able to accommodate the numbers attending without causing any problems to our residents. To segregate the pools is not practical as many guests have their own preferences. I am pleased to hear that you did enjoy your holiday.

I have stayed here twice, so that must say something.
It is a lovely family friendly hotel, the staff can't do enough for them.
The hotel is clean, the rooms when we were there were being modernized so it was pot look if you got an upgrade which we did.
The food was buffet style plenty off it if not wonderful.
The only thing I would say if you stay in high season, beware they l
Have day passes and you have to fight for sunloungers and pool space.

Food was great both dinner and breakfast , something for every one, there is no need to rush to breakfast or dinner because they keep topping up until the end, the only thing I didn't like was the deserts but thats just my personal taste.
The rooms were alright finally came to a hotel where the third bed was a proper bed, I dont know if its just the room I was in and that we requested it but yeah.
There was a bus stop right near to the hotel so its easy to get to places.
I think the other reviews were very harsh, so overall i dont think it is a 4 star but a very very hood 3 star

This hotel has beautiful views of paradise bay and the islands. Unfortunately the service inside the hotel is not up to a four star standard. On check in there was a young girl doing her best to check us in, she was interrupted by a very grumpy English man. He was rude when I asked about travel suggestions to the next town. There was not one note of politeness or hospitality from him.

The bedroom was not an economy sea view - a limited sea view!! The housekeeping service was very poor, the rug in the room was not vacuumed for our entire stay (ten days). The floors were not properly cleaned and some days the bins weren't emptied and one day we didn't get any clean towels. The towels and sheets were very old and some of the towels had holes in them. Also the air-conditioning did not work in an effective manner and started leaking water.

The restaurant was quite untidy. The majority of the service staff were very poorly trained. The kept dropping items on the floor when clearing and would leave them there. The manager did not seem to give them any direction. Food was okay there was always a good choice but some of the dishes were bland. One good point was the BBQ on the Saturday night, the food on that night was very good.

The outside areas around the pool bar and the indoor pool were quite untidy, there was always cigarette butts and papers on the ground.

The computers in the lobby were not available to use everyday, there seemed to be problems with them nearly every day.

The Bistro was quite good with good food and good service, but overall the hotel is not a four star property and does not provide a four star service!!

Room Tip: Rooms with a proper sea view.

Stayed in this hotel (I say the word hotel loosely) and have never stayed in a worse hotel, considering I have stayed in b&bs in Glasgow etc.
The breakfast is awful, the economy rooms are dire with televisions from the year 1980 and unhelpful staff.
Me and my partner were given a room with two single beds, one of which had a large dip in the centre and the beds looked like tommy Walsh had knocked them up with some spare wood from his shed.
Breakfast consisted of the same crap everyday with a coffee/tea/juice despenser that was terrible, you only got bacon every other day if you were lucky.i even seen many other guests eating just plate culls of baked beans, probably because they could not find any food that was ediable.
Me and my partner went out every day on the local buses to get away from the place and resorted to buying our meals in st Julian's at a very good restaurant called avenue.as we were regulars to the restaurant the manager allowed us to view a room at the hotel they owned there called 'valentina' a three star hotel that made paradise bay look like a shack.we wished we had booked this place instead which would have cost us not much more.
The manager of paradise bay has an answer for everything and seems to blame the guests for their bad experience of his hotel.not every person can be wrong so admit your mistakes and sort them out.
