40-year old Danish travel company property with still exquisite architecture! Spacious fully family bungalow units sleep 6, 2 bedroom, large bath and living room with supplied kitchen and courtyard. “Tempur” mattresses outstanding! Sov godt. Rooftop sundeck above. Units all compact together but design gives privacy an isolated feeling. Surprisingly quiet with so many families. Common facilities and activities are excellent with highly engaged staff. Nearly all Danish visitors here on economical charter package trips. Already thoughts of returning.

We had a perfect time! Bungalows were spacious, comfortable and very nice. We were 3 persons, me, my husband and my mother. We enjoyed sunbathing on the rooftop of the bungalow ( 2 sunbeds and umbrella, we asked for third one, but did not get it, requests are usually satisfied in a very slow manner :) We enjoyed our evenings having dinner in our inner yard with fruits and champagne. You can order food from the restaurant and bring it to your bungalow. But we also liked to lusten to live music in the bar while having dinner. Swimming pool is big and good enough. They also have the small one for kids. Spa is also great, it's a pity I did not have time to enjoy the massage. A bus stop is nearby the Mellieha holiday centre and publ8c transport is higly developed. And to get to the beach you need just to make 5 minutes walk (there is a pedestrian tunnel to get to it) A shop is a plus, you can get food, shampoo, newspapers or whatever you may need. And by the way, you may see turtles right after you pass the reception. I saw kids who liked to watch turtles swimming.Mellieha holiday center has got a gym too, but I did not have a chance to visit it.I would definately recommend the place. It's old, but partially renovated. And people seem to care about the place. The territory is clean, gardens are well maintained, the place is calm and friendly. Don't hesitate, book it and enjoy :)

This is a great town with everything great sightseeing opportunities and a first rate beach. The red tower is well worth a visit even though it is a long climb. Buses to Valetta although frequent do fill up very quickly so be prepared for much of the journey standing if you get on in the village! Fares are a single fare and excellent value, however if you hire a car this will be a better way of exploring the Island. Stay at Mellieha and you will not be disappointed

My wife and I have stayed in the Mellieha Holiday Centre many times since 2002 and this time we again stayed there for 3 weeks as we did last year.
The house are well built from 1979 but the management have not carried out effective maintenance or a good house inspection. Every year we have stayed there since 2015 there have been problems with maintenance and the inventory of the houses, we have allocated 4 different houses and always the contents of the kitchen have been wanting in some way or other.

Thia time it was so bad we had to have fridge changed, the lights repaired, the kitchen exhaust could not be repaired as the filter etc, was missing.
We took the matter up with the Front Office Manager as we think their service is not good enough.

There are major works going on and the building sites were not fenced off as guest could walk on the site by mistake. Also no health and Safety notices posted as required by the Malteses Authority.

Still the Centre is normally good to stay in what ever the mess.

Room Tip: Some houses are better for the sunshine than others
