Stayed in Parque Santiago III for the first two weeks of June. The first apartment we were given was awful - dark and musty, and I refused to stay in it. Was given another apartment which was fine. For such a modern complex it is staggering that there are no lifts, so you can be put on high floors and have to drag suitcases up and down the stairs. The pool was very cold but it may just have been the time of year. There is a wifi room off reception, but the wifi is so poor that most people gave up. I didnt like the fact that there seemed to be no security in the complex in that the non-guests can walk straight into the complex from the public underground shopping centre, and also from the beach walkway. The location is great but everything else is average. Wont be returning.

Room Tip: If you are booking a one bed apartment, try and get a split level one with a stairs as it feels much...

As soon as we arrived our rooms were not ready, although we had been given a token for the bar for a free drink (alcohol or soft drink) arrived back at reception 1 hour later only one room was ready. Got to the room and we were not happy with it so later we then go our two rooms together next to each other. Happy with the cleaning service, towels changed everyday, bins emptied everyday and beds made. Although loads of ants around our kitchen area and bathroom area had to tell reception at least 6 times before they sprayed anything as ants were getting into our food. Few days later ants were back as there was obviously a nest in our apartment so had to put up with it. A day later realized our fridge was broke all food was defrosted so had to bin EVERYTHING. New fridge put in a few hours later. Sun loungers you had to put your towel down the night before to ensure you had one. Bar prices and ice cream was very DEAR. No aircon only a fan so which leaded to sleeping with doors open and where I was staying was very nisey from 5am in the mornin also during the night with eople walking by trucks in the mornin beeping so slee was broke everynight. Apart from all that the location was great right net to the beach, shos, supermarkets, and everything else you needed. 40 degrees was highest temp which was great. Would go back to Tenerife just not these apartments as they are too small and too many problems I had.

Room Tip: Choose a room where it is near the pool or you have a big walk, and a room which you will not here n...

This is a great place to stay. You are in between Los Christianos and Las Americas. You can walk to both places in minutes. Parque Santiago 3 has everything you need, pools, water playground for the kids, beach outside the gate, shoping on site, supermarket across the road and great restaurants and bars everywhere. This Parque is suitable for all ages... families, couples, oldies and young. Over the years we have gone to different resorts in Tenerife but since we found Parque Santiago 3 we haven't gone back to any of the others. We booked our 1 bed apartment privately through Holiday Lettings and it all went very well. You can see pictures of each apartment before you choose and you know exactly where it is situated and what it contains. I recommend Parque Santiago 3 and Holiday Lettings for a great holiday.

Maid service EVERYDAY was just amazing! Apartment mopped, bin emptied, beds made, towels changed, toilet cleaned...the lovely lady who did our room was so happy and cheerful at her work as well!

We stayed 2 flights up in a 1 bedroom apartment, 70 steps to the pool and NO lift (Room 4098 in the 'Tenerife' block - all blocks of apartments are named after a canary island!) We decided it would be good for our fitness - PHEW!! The 'pool view' was accurate if you were a giraffe so in actual fact the small, private balcony looked on to the nursery and gardens which was very pleasant. No air-con in the apartment but the ceiling fan did a good job considering the temp was averaging 35 deg.

Parque Santiago 3 complex is lovely and so clean and quiet at night. Sunbeds and umbrellas were readily available and were free! As was WIFI at the Reception area or 25 euros if you wanted to use it in your apartment.

The restaurants and bars in the complex are a bit more expensive than local places (apart from 2 for price of 1 at 'Happy Hour') 6 euros for a breakfast when you can get same or better nearby (Patch area) for 2.75 euros. DO NOT use the supermarket at Parque Santiago 4!! Prices are extortionate! It would be well worth your while to take a taxi (5 euros) from the Mercadona (either at San Eugenio or Los Cristianos) - MUCH cheaper!

In the evening (and also afternoons!) we enjoyed a drink or 2 and sometimes a meal in The Highlander Bar at The Strip (Parc de la Pas) nearby. Lovely 'special recipe' sangria, comfortable surroundings, very clean loos, a bookie and a very friendly manager, Michael.

12 times in Tenerife, 1st time in Parque Santiago 3 - but certainly won't be our last!

Stayed 11 nights booked through thomas cook as family of 4. we booked 2 rooms as our kids are 14 years old and like their own space. on arrival we were allocated 2 rooms at opposite end of complex, no use to spend time together on a FAMILY holiday. next morning the best reception could do was give us a 1 bedroom apartment which we felt we had to accept.
The rooms themselves are very dated much in need of upgrading. Both swimming pools are saltwater which my kids or i did not like they would only enter pool once a day max sometimes not at all.Complained when we came home they say nothing could be done about rooms as we accepted when we booked rooms may not be together but compensation given because of pools as TC dont mention it in their brochure or online. SO CALL AND COMPLAIN AND SEE IF YOU GET COMPENSATION!
Resort itself is good did not eat or drink much in hotel bar/ restaurant as the restaurants outside the complex were fantastic!! nice little place 5 mins walk called SURFERS nothing fancy but excellent quality and price we used to go for breakfast for 4 with drinks about 20 euros!
I will never go back to parque santiago and reccomend you dont go either

Room Tip: Book another hotel

After reading some of the other reviews it seems that people are quite picky and make a fuss about nothing! First of all, if you had reviewed the hotel before going then you would notice that it has a salt water pool, which to be honest is not a huge deal really as the good size of the pool and plenty of sunbeds make up for that. The rooms are dated but they are very clean and are cleaned and beds changed etc everyday, the colour of the wallpaper is not the most important part of the holiday, well not in my experience anyway. The hotel staff were really friendly and very helpful, the reception staff helped us book excurions etc which was a bonus not having to hunt around for a ticket sales office. There was a good gym which was free to use, (not that you would want to in the heat!) The pool bar was very nice and staff always there ready to serve you. Overall it was a brilliant holiday and would def recommend this hotel. Great hotel, great location..

We went to Park Santago III in June this year and we weren't disappointed, so much so we booked to go again just this weekend.
The staff were friendly on arrival, the room was basic but very clean and the pool was....well amazing.
The rooms were cleaned daily, plenty of towels supplied (we were a family of 4 and managed well). All kitchen equipment was in good working order, tv with cbeebies for the kids and even a high chair for my son, everything we needed was provided. A bottle of water, wine & fruit basket was in the room on our arrival, nice touch we thought.
The pool is clean, yes the big pool is salt water but neither of my children had any problems and they're 4 & 1. The childrens water play park is amazing, what a perfect addition to the hotel, kept my daughter entertained for hours. Fitness centre is onsite too.
The hotel is on the beach front, has a shopping centre incorporated within it and supermarket just over the road. Its out of the way of the loud night life but still has a good atmosphere and is a 10 min walk to the main night life, we ventured the regular.
We found it quiet on a night, theres no entertainment in the hotel and can be expensive for drinks but we rarely stayed here at night, we chose to eat out somewhere different and experience the different places on offer.
Overall we loved it and we have stayed in Tenerife before but I can safely say it would take some extra special to pull us away from stopping here when we come in furture, its just so child friendly. We have highly recommended this place and next year we are taking the grandparents!
I think you have to remember you pay for what you get if you're looking for a great family destination with plenty to keep the kids entertained in the day, look no further. We were chuffed to bits (& I'm the first to pick fault if need be). Can't wait to go back next year!!!
