“Great complex in a fantastic location”
Reviewed June 30, 2012

I have just returned from a weeks stay in Parque Santiago 3 within the quieter area of Playa de las Americas and I agree with all the positive reviews on this hotel as my stay was perfect. Upon arrival, the kind receptionist checked us in very speedily. I asked for a room overlooking the pool / sea which was not a problem as my request was granted. It is pot luck what building you will be staying as PS3, 4 and 5 are all based nearby eachother. Our studio room was great. There was a bottle of wine, water and fruit which was a nice touch. It had a nice flat screen tv with many satellite channels (although mainly foreign). The beds were very comfy and there was a ceiling fan to cool the room down. The kitchen area was well stocked with cutlery, kettle, toaster and coffee maker with plenty of pots and pans so we were able to cook a few times during our stay. There was also a modern 4 ring hob with oven. We had a huge terrace with a couple of sunbeds and table and chairs which came in handy for topping up our tan in the afternoon. The bathroom was basic but was kept immaculate. The maids cleaned the room and changed the towels every day although we found they cleaned the rooms a bit too early (09:30am) The hotel was spotlessly clean and was located near many bars, restaurants and also had a shopping centre underneath the hotel. The swimming pool was one of the biggest I had ever seen. It was a lovely place to chill and unwind though the hotel's own bars were quite pricey. The complex is great for children as there was a kids water park in ps3. There is also a gym though we did not use this facility. PS4 also had a nice pool area and dancing fountains outside. There are 2 supermarkets within a minute's walk which stocked all the essentials. The location was great, only a 2 min walk to the beach and about a 10 minute walk to Los Cristianos. I recommend Bianco's Italian restaurant in the shopping complex near the hotel and also the Thai which was a couple of doors away. Checkout was smooth and we were pleased that we could keep the room until 12:00. Overall I was very impressed with this hotel and would like to thank the staff for making our stay very pleasant. and would recommend this accommodation to anyone staying in Tenerife.

Room Tip: It's worth asking for a poolside view room as they would be quiter than the rooms overlooking th...

Stayed in parque santiago 3 for two weeks at the start of June and yet again we were impressed (stayed 2 year ago). Couldn't fault the hotel at all. Excellent location, in a quieter up market end of playa De las Americas, which suited us great as we are not into the clubbing scene on holiday, but it's only a small 5 min walk to the strip at Veronica's.
The hotel is situated on a corner and the beach outside is a bit rocky and windy (great for surfing) but if you turn left and walk 2 mins round the little bend you come to a lovely little beach, keep walking you arrive at loads of restraunts along the seafront and another beach this time a lot bigger (las vistas) keep walking and through a little tunnel for arrive at Los christianos this whole walk takes about 15-20 mins and is a lovely little walk. We often did this walk when we heat was a bit too much to lounge round the pool and went for something to eat in the many beachfront restraunts. A lot offer a lint of beer for 1€.
The restraunts and cocktail bars around the hotel are expensive but are very nice :-) typical cocktail €8 and a meal for two usually came too about €50 including a glass of wine and a beer and no desert. Would recommend, el Greco, gran reserva and oriental garden, all in the safari centre. Personally wouldn't recommend mamma Mia's didn't think much of the pizzas. Don't go to the stable? I think it's called the pizza restraunt owned by the hotel on the side of Santiago 3 as I fund a magott in the menu so I walked out of the restraunt really puts you off your food. All the other restraunts owned by the hotel are great though :-)
Hotel room was nice and cean, hotel maid every day who did a great job, clean towels every day too. The rooms don't have air conditioning this wasn't a problem for us in may last time but this time only 4 weeks later the heat on a nightime was unbearable. I'm sure you can rent air conditioning but my partner went to the electronic shop under the reception and bought a very powerful fan for €20 which did the trick and was prob cheaper than renting air con.
We only went on one trip which was Siam park. Great day out loads of rides, a beach and a big wave pool. Don't take a packet lunch as your bags get searched on arrival. Everyone was getting searched when we went which made the ques into the park very long. Don't panic though as there are plenty of locker and sunbed spaces.
One last thing, an old lady got her purse stolen by the pool by someone posing as a resident of the hotel. The hotel has security guards who keep and eye and it's very safe and he was caught very quickly but just watch valuables if your in the pool. There is also a safe to rent in the room too :-)
Had an excellent two week stay and would defiently go again. If you have kids I would recommend Loro and jungle parks which we have done in the past great days out.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the road on right hand side don't get the sun n the balcony till 4 in afternoon whi...

I stayed in PS3 for 7 days (12-19th June) and was very impressed. First impressions of the room were good. Well kept, not too small etc. Loses one star due to having to sleep on a fold out bed for a week but we were a party of 6 so it was understandable to a degree.
Pool area was gorgeous. Huge pool with a large bar serving large beers for 3.90 Euros which I believe is about average for the area.
Complex is literally facing the beach (the rear of the hotel, that is) so is in a fantastic location with restaurants and bars only 10 mins walk in all directions and it's own shopping centre underneath.
All in all, I was very happy with the hotel and the area and will go back in the near future!

Room Tip: Try and ask for a room on a higher level, maybe facing the pool.

stayed in Parque Santiago 3 from Friday 8th June-Friday 15th June 2012. can honestly say it was one of the best holidays iv ever been on. rooms spotlessley clean, maids came in and cleaned and made your beds EVERYDAY!! on arrival you are greeted with a bowl of fruit, a big bottle of water and a bottle of wine, really nice touch! we had a one bedroom apartment which comfortably slept 4 adults, we also had 2 balconys with a view over the lovely pool area!
pool area huge- even bigger in real life! also has a heated hot tub/jacuzzi outside which is awesome! there is also a gym, and a massage parlour on site! shopping centre in apartments- plently of good shops, perfume shops, toys, clothes etc. supermarket for groceries directly across road- fantastic value and massive, youll always find what your looking for! mini golf across road, loads of gorgeous restaurants, we loved la martina grill, el bianco, and there is even a tony romas which is even more delicious than the one in the UK! best nachos ever! :) we also took a visit to 'Siam Park' the water kingdom which for 33 euros was absolutely fantastic- def worth going to- also get a free bus which takes literally 5 minutes!! Also don't be like me and check the weather forecast before leaving because i checked on numerous sites and they all said rain and stormy for 4/7 days we were there but when we arrived we were greeted with mid 30's every day and not a cloud in the sky! weather was fantastic! overall i would 100% return to these apartments - so much to do for all ages! Missing it already...

Room Tip: we had a one bedroom- for 4 adults, we worried about it not being spacious enough- but we had more t...

We booked a 9 night stay at the PS3 and couldn't the accommodation. The apartment was cleaned everyday-beds made, towels changed, bathroom cleaned, etc) by very happy, friendly maids. We asked for an apartment on a higher floor with a sea/pool view and got exactly what we asked for. No lifts but not too much trouble up 3 flights of stairs. Check-in was easy. Room ready on arrival. Safe with PIN you choose yourself in room. Bedroom and bathroom upstairs. Sofa bed/kitchen/diner downstairs. Balconies on both floors with patio set and sun loungers. Bowl of fruit/bottle of water and plonk on arrival. Pool area very clean and hundreds of loungers and parasols so no problem ever getting them anytime of the day. Pool is massive. Small pool is bigger than most other hotels. Lagoon type main pool with fountains/bridges over it. No ball games or inflatables allowed in biggest pool but are allowed in allocated pool where it's a bit shallower. Quite salty water. Poolside showers. Waterpark for under 12s. Need a wristband. Cafe/BBQ is ok for snacks/chips/toasties etc from €3-€7 approx but coke was€4 for plastic cup. Location is great. In nice part of resort within walking distance of Playa de las americas main bit and Los Christianos. Loads of restaurants around. Row of bars with entertainment-turn right out of complex and go up street opposite. Choukys on beach towards Los christianos was cheap and good quality and staff friendly. Good Meal for 4 with house wine and drinks (chicken, ribs, steak, sea bass) €42.00.
Siam park is well.worth a visit. Would thouroughly recommend the PS3 to anyone. One of the best places we've stayed.

we have just come back from a weeks stay at parque santiago 3,we were allocated a 2 bedroom apartment room 2067 which overlooked the gardens and partial sea view, the room was very spacious very well equiped and the biggest balcony i have had with our room.
The hotel is situated right in the heart of playa de las americas right on the seafront which meant we had a lovely choice of walks either left into los cristianos or right into fanabe.
Dining out is no problem here with loads of places it really depends on what you fancy we used merlin chinese buffet at 7.50 euros for all you could eat, tony romas for ribs chicken etc and would also recommend bombay blue indian restaurant located up above the water fountains.
All in all i really rate this hotel it has very friendly staff with good facilities a super salt water swimming pool and loads of shops. we used supermarket opposite hotel and i did not think prices were too bad at all, obviously english brands were dearer but lets face it you are 1900 miles away from england so what do you expect.
We will definately go back to this hotel again.

Room Tip: ask for garden or sea view.
