Having lived in Brazil and South Florida for many years, I was very happy to encounter the traditional Brazilian BBQ. The set up is similar to the other restaurants of this type that you encounter in Rio, Miami, NYC that has become the rage over the last 15 years.
There is a very generous self service buffet of vegetables, salads and side dishes like rice, beans, plantains, French fries etc. The varied assortments of typical Brazilian cuts is all represented but in a little less abundance than what you encounter over the pond. The waiters cuts the size and quantity you want and if you choose not to eat something you didn't care for, you can hop to the next choice meat. You can experience grilled chicken hearts and other delicacies that will enrich your Tenerife experience.
The dessert tray and waiters (of Brazilian persuasion) both helped to accentuate the experience.
A great experience and remember to ask for the Picanha (pron. Pikanja), the most choice cut of the place.
