“Duna Beach holiday”

Playa de Maspalomas resort not to our expectations. Not many pretty walks along the promindate. Too many up market restaurants and not enough small bars. Would have liked to see small boating trips along Playa de Maspalmos.

“Visit the Dunes then find another beach”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 1, 2012

We really enjoyed walks through the dunes from maspalomas beach to Playa del ingles beach, and apart from the occasional nudist appearing from behind a bush, rushing to the beach, if you plan a similar dune walk you won't come into contact with the nudist beach itself.
But apart from the dunes, why would you come to this beach when there are so many other much nicer beaches just along the coast ? Maspalomas beach is scruffy, with stones at the water's edge, and lots of very tacky cafes and shops.
Walk through the dunes, then head west to Puerto Rico, Amadores , Taurito or Mogan.

Amazing to walk over the Dunes. Beautiful area to walk around with many places to eat. Can be windy at times though.

“Lovely resort”

Beautiful resort very clean. Sand dunes are out of this world and beach is lovely too. Much nicer than playa del ingles

“Wonderfull beach!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 25, 2012

It is the best beach I have seen during my holiday... Sand from sahara, nice waves, the see is not too deep, so you can still walk maybe 40m from the beach... If you have good weather conditions, you can see Pico del Teide (Tenerife), sunrise and sunset is beautifull, just take your BF or GF and enjoy it, it is very romantic :)
