This was our 3rd visit to Palmitos Park. They do seem to spend money improving it and you can see that, it's been 3 years since I last visited.

The dolphin show was excellent and also the Parrot show was one of the best and original that I have watched. The birds of prey show was excellent and well organised, it was hard to keep up with the number of birds flying around.

We did try one of the restaurants but decided just to have a pizza as it was double the price of a Pizza in a normal restaurant, it took a long time and a bit of prompting before it arrived, 30 minutes for a basic Pizza isn't really good enough.

All in a all a good day out although it is a bit on the expensive side.

The bus ride was a good price although very late to arrive at station and massively overcrowded but once we got to Palmitos it was great.

We had a really excellent day out, the parrot & dolphin shows were fantastic and getting our pictures taken with the dolphin was an added bonus!

The park was in great condition with good facilities! A must if you visit Gran Canaria.

The location of this park is right in the mountains and in the middle of nowhere and it's extremely hot..take plenty of drink as its a costly day out.
It must have cost me 50€ in drinks / ice creams to keep hydrated.
We went on the bus which is slow going it may be similar cost in a taxi check it out 1st.

The park itself is good with lots to see, it's obviously steep being in the mountains and heavy going at times in the heat.

There is 4 shows which are at various times, you have to keep tabs on the time so you don't miss them.
There are dolphins, parrots, birds of prey and exotic birds all of which offer superb entertainment (try to plan your route around the times to avoid double backing on yourself as its tiring).
Make sure you take hats too, the dolphin terrace and the birds of prey shows are high up with no cover and no breeze and believe me it's hot.
Aside from the shows there is lots of enclosures with lots of different creatures to see; my favourite was the monkey ..see it and you'll know why ... So funny..

You'll enjoy this park as its a good family day out ..just take on board the comments and you'll have a great day!
