Loved the shows, especially the dolphin show. Expensive for access but worth it. It takes up the guts of a day (10am to 4pm)

This park is a good bit out by definately worth a visit. I've been to lots of zoos and parks and this exceeded all exPectations. I've been to seaworthy and I thought the dolphin show was as good as any of the shows there. The orangatang was a special experience as we were there while he was being fed and you could see the good relationship with the trainer. This was my number 1 place to see while in gram canaria

Had been there 3 times before and wanna go there to get a picture with all my 4 kids i got 1 picture with 2 of the boys, 1 with 3 of the boys and wanted pictures of my kids with all 4 kids. Came around 12.00 and when we came to the place where you can buy a photo it was closed already. Tried to talk to many but no, no pictures after seen the same shows it was sad because if i knew it was closed already by 13.30 i would never spent my money there almost 160 euro to se the same shows, monkey and so on but no pictures i could spent that money on something else.

A visit to Palmitos Park is a must if you are in GC, The park is set in a beautiful valley about 20 mins from Playa, 12/13 euros in a taxi. There are a good selection of animals etc to look at and the birds of prey display is well worth a watch, especially when the backdrop is the mountain tops as the birds do their stuff!. The Dolphin show is also good, however as of April 2013 there is a lot of maintenance work going on in one of the pools so it is closed and covered in not very nice mesh and plastic. Ive been before in the past when both pools are open and that is definitely better. Also the seating area is directly in the sun as the top shaded area is under repair. The park is excellent...........but do not eat or drink there, the food is truly awful and very expensive. a burger filled with more gristle and crap was nearly 14euros. and 6euros for a iced slush drink.

Great parrot show, the dolfins where amasing and the falcon show was ok. fun to se the butterfly house. Many pretty animalt to watch but our smallest children got a bit bored. A good way to spend a day on gran canaria! Remember sun scream!
