“Forget about Faro!”
Reviewed March 1, 2013 via mobile

This atmospheric part of Maspalomas adjacent to the western side of Dune is not about Faro. It is there, thin, tall and dominating but what is more impressing - is strolling the promenade, watching sunset surfers, enjoying food and drinks in one of many good quality places... This place is about rich and about money and it smells there... In a good sense of course ))

“The lighthouse at Maspalomas”
Reviewed January 27, 2013

It's a nice looking light-house but that's about it, don't really know what the fuss is about. Not sure if you can go up it as a tourist, but we didn't try as the kids were busy covering themselves in ice-cream so we had other things on our mind :)

“great for a walk and enjoy the sights”
Reviewed January 27, 2013

walk from here to Playa del Ingles about 3miles, we got the bus to Playa del Ingles (10mins and 1.4Euros each) then walked back - make sure you have water! Not easy walking that far on sand

“A Nice Rest”
Reviewed January 25, 2013

Stopped here for a quick drink, great location on the promenade, food looked good, we'd not long since eaten, service was spot on, all in all a nice place with good decor, seating and ambience.
