Husband and me stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks, believe me if we could have afford the flight back home within 2days we would have left.
The rooms had no air con, with it being 30 degrees it was unbearable, The Food well where DO I START, my husband lived on beans for breakfast, chips for lunch (unless wee were out which was every day because couldn’t stand to stay there all day}and chips for dinner, the only meal he eat was pork off the bone which the chef sliced for you, the boiled potatoes that went with it were stone cold, the peas were hard as nails throught out the 2 weeks, they served scramble eggs they were uneatable the only time that they were trayed was the first day of people arriving, after that no ONE touched them, the fried eggs were like leather, I could go on and on about the food all negative.
The other thing when the bar closed at 11 the tea machine closed with it, so if you wanted a cuppa after 11 your stuffed, there wasn’t any free pop, crisps only a pot of ice cream, and when the canteen (cant call it a rastront) closed at nine at night they wouldn’t let you in to get some for kids.
To think that wee paid all-inclusive, wee still paid for food out side or els wee starved, I would never never go back to the Oassis club in maspalomas

They say you get what you pay for, very true about this place, Rooms do not have air conditioning, real nightmare with temperatures above 30 degrees C make them unbearable. The rooms are very small and openening doors brush against the beds. Cleaning was very poor, the open areas where cleaned, but behind doors etc were missed. Towels changed Monday and Friday. The food was generally OK on ocassions some dishes were served warm as they were allowed to cool in the buffet area. The bars was generally good but busy, they could do with a second bar person to serve drink during busy periods. There is entertainment provided during the day and evenings. There is a sercurity guard at night who will flash his light in your eyes after 11.30 and inform you to go to your room. He will target easy prey than confront someone who will answer back. The appartments are some way from the beach, There is a free bus which runs regularly. There is a lot of baron land around near the appartments.

Room Tip: On talking with others, upper floor at the bottom of the complex are better

first time on gran canaria read some bad reviews about this complex all unfounded as far as my wife and i could see, food was served buffet style with plenty of meats fish veg sallads and fruit you can order a picnic for the next day if you were going on a trip, my wife noticed a woman saying their was no vegitarian food on the same day we counted no less than twelve items on the buffet that was not meat or fish, what did she want ?,the room got cleand every day with fresh bedding and towels every second day, the pool was clean and warm, the entertainment was basic but fun and kept the kids happy, the beds were hard, no air con, the staff were great, the guests were fantastic we all joined in the games and had a good time with lots of laughs, it the end of the day we booked a cheap holiday 14 nights all inc with jet2 £1089 from Newcastle we got a lot more then expected thanks we will go back again X PS the sun was fantastic

I Toayally agree with the previous review... although the over use of the potato cut into the thin long julienne form is a let down even my youngest no longer yurns for them...accomadation is what you pay for although we were luckier than some to have a sun terrace well more sun penthouse tbh over looking the pool...rooms cleaned thoroughly every day excluding sunday WARNING... Dont think that because your nude they wont clean our maid coped a right eyeful.....ideal for families although pedro the south amercan dictator did like to flex his dictatorial muscle way to early most evenings ushered to bed at 12.15....would i visit it again the jury is out would i meet those sharing the holiday definatly......... alfred is a legend the kids adore him....although anyone visiting needs to watch the fashion show on friday night awsome,,,,one sheet does plenty,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,a bit off the beaten track but the free bus makes up for it and very regular...if your looking for all inclusive on a budget its for you if your looking for a 5 star bargain then i suggest you dig deeper into your pocket.........Andy is LEGEND....Made my little ones holiday.....

Room Tip: upgrade to a terrace...but check to confirm you have one......

I do think that people need to remember that this is 2 star accomodation and the money paid to stay there is reflected. Positives for this resort are the people who go there and make the holidays worth every minute. We found that everyone who was there was down to earth and were more than willing to make friends and mix with others. We made many friends there. The children all played together and no one was left out or made to feel unable to join in. The bungalows them selves are basic but cleaned almost daily with fresh towels daily ( although they did smell a little musty!!) The entertainment for the kids was good and everyone was included and had a great time. Varied entertainment 6 nights per week for all the family including parrot shows, fashion shows and a bit of karaoke and bingo !. Entertainment was outside which was great. The pool was beautiful and the areas with the sunbeds were clean and pleasant to lie around ( although yes you do need to get up early to get a bed !!) 2 of the barmen and 1of the women were lovely and accomodating. the rest were very miserable ineed. The reception staff were also very miserable but it didnt put me off!!. The bus to the beach was very convieniant and free and run regularly. Under 4 Euros to go to Playa del ingles which was very handy and there are always taxis outside the resort. Food was not great to a fussy eater like myself but we could find something to eat every day-by the end of the 2 weeks that we stayed i was a bit fed up of it but again..it beats cooking ourselves, lots of people were very happy with the food. Drinks were average for all inclusive and the beer is very cold and very fizzy! Bar does close at 11pm but they do let you get lots of drinks before they close to keep you going! Man on reception will tell you off if you are laughing loudly after 12 so be warned ! Overall a cheap holiday with lots of relaxation and fun for all the family. If you want a good time dont hesitate to go there...if you want luxury and good food...try somewhere else. I would definately go again just for the people who go there and the fun that we had.

Room Tip: Ask for a large balcony

We selected the fully inclusive hotel as we were on a budget. The two mini apartments we had, were brilliant. Even had our own terrace and sunbeds overlooking the pool. We liked the rooms as they were like small holiday homes with an upstairs and downstairs area. Not all the rooms had the private sun terrace /roof garden but ours did and they were great.

However, the food... Plenty of good provided but at set times of the day. It was a bit mass produced and reminded me of works canteen food, although I managed to find something I like most days. Always plenty of good salads on offer.
We did end up spending money on eating out several times more than I would have expected just to break the monotony.

Was a bit regimented, for example the small local ice creams were only available when the restaurant was open. Bar shut at 11pm every where else I have stayed the bar has kept open to serve guests until they go to beef our at least until like 1pm.

I get the feeling tier place is run on a tight budget but if you are also on a tight budget, then this could be for you. Very popular with younger families.

Next time, I shall not be so tight and try and find somewhere better.
