A self catering hotel trying to be all inclusive, but fails. It's more like full board with drinks. There are no snacks and no food after 8.30pm, and the food is very limited and soup is from a packet, it's a bit bad when there are Brussel sprouts for dinner one nite and then they are served up for BREAKFAST and lunch the nxt day!! Leftovers to the extreme. But rooms are clean, complex is clean, the staff work hard. The rule for 2 drinks from the bar per person is very odd and the coffee is rubbish, watered down milk! Drinking water has to be bought from the shop if you want extra when the bar is closed. If your not a foodie, and u want something quiet then maybe it's for you but I wouldn't come back.

Stayed here in march 2014 all inclusive , it has 3 good sized pools but they were not heated, kids club was good and they really involved all the kids in the activities, the kids club staff were excellent. Activies were available like rifle shooting bingo, ballroom dancing etc but didnt take part as we were out most of the day. The hotel is a couple of miles from the town too far to walk with kids if you want to go out, but there is a huge holiday world complex with a funfair tenpin bowling soft play and more with a restaurant across the road from the hotel which was great for my wee girl. The food in the restaurant was really good and well priced too. Rooms are basic with a pay per view coin operated tv, didnt use it so wasnt that bothered, we had a shower only bathroom with a hairdryer. If you wanted an iron or bigger tv or car seat or anything really you can rent it from the hotel as they have quite a large selection to choose from. We also hired a car through the hotel and it was reasonably priced €300 tax and insurance included for a convertable golf for the week. It was delivered and picked up from the hotel. The rooms and beds were quite big and were cleaned every two days by staff, it was a very clean complex. It also had a spar shop on the complex. There was a small playpark but it couldve been better. The restaurant was a good size and the food was good without being spectacular. Will stay elsewhere next time but it wasnt bad by any means. Three and a half stars.

Me and a friend stayed here for a weeks all inclusive starting 8 th march. Complex was adequate, clean, apartment was clean and spacious, 3 changes on linen and towels. The pool was lovely and not too busy although the complex was busy. I am a fussy eater but there was always something I could eat at the buffet style restaurant. The alcoholic drinks were ok, I drink gin and the g and t was fine. The entertainment was okay, the 2 guys Leo and Gilbert worked very hard, especially for the kids there's a spar shop on site which is reasonable and a free beach bus 3 times a day. You are 4 euros away in a taxi to the yumba centre in playa de ingles. It was carnival week when we were there so it was very busy but good entertainment. For couples and families it's great, this is the first time we have done all incl but I wouldn't do it again, ties u too much to the place and times and still spent a few bob going out!

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Turbo Club, a great value hotel and one which we would thoroughly recommend. As usual we researched available hotels before we booked so we knew the hotel was a wee bit away from the beach but the Turbo Club seemed to be worth a punt.

And so it proved to be, we had a great time...yes the hotel is a wee bit tired around the edges but its well managed and spotlessly clean, and the apartments are fine. We asked for an upper apartment with a view over the main pool and that's exactly what we got...Room 229 with a lovely balcony benefiting from the sun in the afternoon and evening. Nice living room with a small kitchen area with more than adequate cooking facilities, fridge etc, full bathroom with shower etc and a separate bedroom with good wardrobe space for two. My only minor gripe with the room was the shower, which was great as far as pressure etc was concerned but the temperature could be way too hot to begin with but then it would go cold pretty quickly.... maybe it was just me who had problems ( my wife said she didn't !) but the variation in temperature is worth bearing in mind particularly for families with young children. All in all though the rooms are more than acceptable.

The restaurant and bar areas are nice, and the meals we had during our stay were very good indeed, if a tad repetitive. Main courses each evening tended to be a choice of fish, chicken, pork and beef supplemented by nice starters and sweet options ( the soups were excellent being "home made" rather than from a packet) but what was on offer was of a very good quality and we always found something to our liking. If there is a possible weakness, its the breakfasts, which were a bit basic, but again there is enough to keep you going so no real worries.

All Inclusive drinks were fine although the common tendency among cost conscious hotels to use flimsy plastic cups during the day and in the evening was a bit of a pain. You can certainly accept the use of these during the day round the pool etc but it would be nice to get a proper glass in the evening during the entertainment etc. However bearing in mind what we paid, less than £60 per night All Inclusive, what was provided was superb value.

The staff in the hotel were brilliant, from the friendly and efficient checking in, to the great service in the pool bar, main bar and restaurant and of course the housekeeping staff...the hotel can be proud of them all. And of course there is the two-man entertainment team, Leo and Gilbert, who were just amazing..... always keen to get folks involved during the daytime activities, but not pushy if you preferred not to. They were equally brilliant during the evening...we all had such a laugh !

So a thoroughly enjoyable break in a hotel which we would be only too happy to return to. Yes its a wee bit away from the wonderful beach/dunes but there is a courtesy bus several times a day but we quite enjoyed the 45 minute stroll down after breakfast. In any case taxis are extremely good value, say 3 or 4 euros to the beach or to any of the large commercial centres like the Yumbo which are well worth a visit for those looking for something more lively of an evening etc.
Finally thanks to all of the great people we met during our stay who made the holiday even more enjoyable...hopefully we will meet again some day !!

Room Tip: Most apartments overlook one or other of the pools but the upper apartments have the better views...

We've just returned from a great family holiday at Turbo Club. I visited with my husband & girls, aged 6 & 8. We would like to say a huge thanks to Leo & Gilbert who provided the entertainment & were excellent with the kids. The food was always of a high standard & there was always plenty to choose from. There was food cooked fresh on the hot plate almost every day & the pancakes & omelette were especially good :) The only negative thing I would mention was the showers - the design of them was quite dangerous as it was so easy to knock the handle whilst in the shower & the water turned scalding hot; it happened to all of us a few times. The resort was always kept clean & tidy & because it was quite small, the girls had a lot of freedom to do their own thing.

The market is just a 5 minute walk & is there on a Wednesday & Saturday, it's a fair size with loads of stalls. The hotel is in a fairly quiet quiet part of the island but everything is accessible by bus or taxi. The on site Spar is excellent with just about everything you would need.

The only other downside is the all inclusive ending at 12noon on day of departure, as it is only an all inclusive resort, you can't even buy meals or drinks after that time & it's not very handy with 2 young kids having to go further afield for meals. We did however have lunch in the restaurant at the bowling in holiday world which was really nice; huge portions & good value for money.

All in all, I would highly recommend Turbo Club. I think you get a lot for your money in a very clean & comfortable resort :)

Room Tip: Rooms by the small pool are quieter but we found our room by the main pool was in a great location...

Food was plentiful but a bit boring, beer and wine good. Three quarters of an hour walk to the beach or 15mins on the free bus. Entertainment was ok and the hotel was very clean. Good value for money but the two drinks only when there is 4 in your group is a bit daft!

We stayed at the Turbo Club over new year 2013. We are a family of 4, children aged 4 and 6.

This was our fist experience of a family all inclusive and we all agreed it was one of our best holidays ever. The Turbo Club is clean, comfortable and welcoming. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, particularly the dining room staff and the 2 activity coordinators.

Food was good, always plenty of choice, regularly topped up and replaced. The bars were open from 10:00 till 23:30 and the quality of drink was fine. My kids loved being able to go up to the bar and get themselves a coke!

Agree with others that it is probably a good idea to get a safe to keep valuables in but this is only because the apartments are only on 2 levels so would be quite easy to break into.
The 2 pools give a good choice of where to swim and sunbathe, the area around the heated pool being more noisy with music playing most of the day. The activity coordinators were amazing, very patient with my kids and enthusiastic about their activities. There was a great variety of things for the kids to do.

The Turbo Club is situated in a quiet area, close walk to the Holiday World complex with bowling, arcades and restaurants. Try to get to the market held behind the hotel on a Saturday morning. Free bus provided to take you to Maspalomas sand dunes and Playa del Ingles only €5 in a taxi.

All in all, we had a brilliant time at the Turbo Club and would definitely return and highly recommend.

Room Tip: Away from the main pool will be quieter.
