We travelled on our first ever holiday with our daughter! At 3 months old she loved it!
We had a 1 bed apartment whch was very nice, our view was over the road and not as good as others that got a full view of Maspalomas.
Room was very nice couldn't fault it, lots of cats which you get on the Canaries and one had decided to make our balcony home, so had to keep door closed beacuse of our baby.
Room got very warm as no aircon due to it being "winter". It was 24/25 degrees in our room though so quite hot!
Pool and pool area lovely but it was so so cold!! Could only dip our baby in!
We ate in the hotel restaurant and found it to be really nice. You could have a buffet choice on half board -we didn't do this, or order of the menu which we did. We were able to take the pram no problem and the waiters were so helpful and friendly.
Very family friendly hotel.

As a time share exchange we were very happy with Palm Oasis although the location - on the edge of Maspalomas - means you need a car to get anywhere as the surrounding suburb of "Sonnenland" is of no interest or attraction. The hotel complex itself is however very attractive with beautiful swimming pools and well-tended grounds. We stayed in one of the three storey villas which surround the pool/garden area. (It was called Gui-Gui which is pronounced Wee-Wee!!) The apartment was comfortable and well furnished although the kitchen facilities were very limited. However, unusually for a time share complex where self catering is the norm, the apartment was serviced everyday and this included the washing-up. A particular attraction was the very large balcony with comfortable sun-beds and table and chairs. The view, alas, was over the extensive urbanisation of Maspalomas with only a very distant view of the famous dunes and the sea. We only ate in the restaurant once which was OK but no more than that. Nearby there was a Chinese restaurant but not much else. We chose to pay extra for on site car parking and this I would recommend as the alternative was a rather scruffy vacant site away from the hotel. On the whole a good hotel but disadvantaged by its location. If this was not an issue for you - i.e. if you had a hire car and were not tied to the beach everyday - I would recommend.

We had a large one bedroom apartment with good facilities apart from the old TV with poor picture. We asked for an apartment with afternoon sun & this was great when we came back during the afternoon.
A bonus in January was that it stayed daylight until about 18.30
The restaurant is only OK in quality & price & not much used considering the large number of apartments.
Surprisingly there was no bar available during the evenings!
The small supermarket on site is not bad on choice or price and there are several others nearby.
We had a car & used the underground car park at a modest charge for the week
The location is not great but no problem with a car & lots of taxis around
No faults with staff , room cleaning & laundry change

Our only negative critisisms are lack of an evening bar/entertainment despite the adverts. The dinner buffet looked a bit boring but a la carte is on offer although we didn't try that either! There are a couple of decent restaurants within walking distance or a taxi ride to huge choice. The swimming pools are superb, plenty of sun loungers etc. Our studio was excellent with full size bed, kitchenette and good bathroom with bath and shower. We will definitely return!

This hotel is about 2 miles from the nearest beach. Therefore a car is essential. Nothing around it apart from one Chinese restaurant and 2 small bars which don't do a lot. The rooms were cleaned daily. Sheets changed once during the week.. The fabrics in the room ie bedspread, curtains were looking faded and way past their best. Disappointed our balcony only had sun up to about 10.30 am and was in the shade for the rest of the day. Our view was poor, overlooking 2 tennis courts and other buildings. Pool area is good with a bar. If you wish to park your car at the hotel - this is an extra. There is waste ground opposite most people use - however noticed one car in the morning with only 1 wheel left on it! There is a barriered security gate to the hotel with an attendant.

our second visit to Palm Oasis and just as good as the first. First impressions of the resort is good and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The grounds are immaculate as are the pools and surrounding areas.
Food and drink prices were very reasonalbe and had barely increased since last year. Happy hours indeed at the poolside bar, again very friendly staff.

The room as ever was spacious and well equipped.
