The slightly scruffy appearance belies a truly wonderful restaurant. The specials change daily and are all chosen, prepared, served and explained with such transparent enthusiasm and joy that it just enthuses one to experiment. These guys really do love their job. Their enthusiasm and expertise is as impressive as the quality. Delighted to explain, in as much detail as you wish, every single ingredient, where it came from, why it was chosen, and precisely how it was prepared. An absolute joy to see people doing something they really enjoy, and doing it properly and with real love and passion. So depressing to see the rows of tourist-trap rubbish restaurants along the sea front when for the same price and a short walk back here you can experience proper food and be treated as a valued customer not a conveyor-belt tourist. Please take the trouble to find your way here and you won't regret the extra effort.

Having read the reviews in Trip advisor I was not convinced that what appears to be a day time pizza cafe would come up with the goods for an evening meal. How wrong can you be! Wonderful starters from the daily specials board priced at €7-€8 and mains from €15 to €17.50 I has papadelle pasta with thin strips of sirloin and goats cheese. Really nice if a little over salted my partners gnocchi with blue cheese was really good. Ricardo can come across as a little off the wall (someone mentioned 'drunk' in an earlier review) but he is obviously passionate about food and wine and wants you to relax and takes his time to explain the dishes of the day. We had a great 3 course meal with a nice bottle of wine for €70 so great value considering other establishments in Maspalomas! One critism would be the staff wearing jeans and t.shirts for evening service, fine during the day but because the food is such a high standard I think a more formal dress code for the evening, eg black trousers and smart shirts wouldn't go amiss especially as some of the customers arriving were dressed 'to the nines' it may just create a better first impression for those coming out for a romantic or special evening meal.

We had a lovely night out dining at this establishment recently. It is a bit off the beaten path of the main promenade along the waterfront and has the feel of an outdoor Miami restaurant. I was a bit dubious when I looked at their menu but the waiter quickly brought us a chalkboard with the specials of the day which were unique and spectacular. My husband had shrimp ravioli with a squid ink dye for the pasta and I had an amazing fettuccine with a cream and pumpkin sauce with cherry tomatoes. The food was very fresh and a nice change from the normal tapas we had been eating daily. We were not big fans of their homemade bread because it seemed pretty dry and stale to us. They have free wifi which was awesome and the service was wonderful. Don't expect a pretty view when you go but expect a lovely night out with better than average food.

We had lunch here with my husband and we liked it. We took pizza and cesar salad and both were delicious.
