It is a lovely little bar, with great potential, but Irish? It may have been once, but that was a long time ago. in fact the current owners appear to be from east of England. The decoration is basic to say the least and a good duster would`nt go amiss.

Still, it a good watering hole, great atmosphere for the football and nice firendly staff. Ok for a couple of pints but not the sort of place you would go to every night.

I can not comment on the food as it looks like it is brought in from local restaurants. Another down side is the lack of toilet facilities, you have to get your hand stamped and head for the public toilets in the complex.

Watched football after accessing Paddys via the beach. Great fun. A little small but great atmosphere

The bar is tiny but right on the beach with a few tables outside in the sun. Inside there is Sky TV if you want sports. Downsides - there is no loo so you have to get your hand stamped to use the public loos fifty yards away without being charged 50cents by the attendant. There is only one member of staff on at any one time so the food is limited to sandwiches or toasties, although there was no problem getting food soom after ordered. Overall, a good atmosphere to enjoy a beer in the sun with a view of the sea.

On a recent trip to Maspalomas we stumbled across Paddys Bar & liked it so much we spent a total of 3 afternoons in this bar!
The situation is great & staff friendly. There is only toasties & sandwiches available to eat, but given the size of the premises they make good use of the space.
We went as a group of 7 & easily found a spot here, it's a great place to relax with a drink & enjoy the waves.

Went on St Patricks day - really disappointed to find no music (unless you count MTV) or any special events planned. Average toasties were 3 euros (served without a smile) Guinness was great however and location right on beach superb. Surprisingly for an Irish bar notices everywhere saying 'cash only' 'no tabs' 'no drink no football' etc - just not welcoming.
