“Fantastic hotel, lovely food, fab pool areas - definitely go back”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 11, 2011

Arrived late at the hotel and the staff couldn't be more helpful in showing us to our room and helping with luggage. They even ensured a snack was made available because we'd arrived so late. Stayed in a junior suite - rooms well decorated, clean and surprisingly - quite a few English speaking TV channels.....
Food was lovely, always fresh and lots of choice. Only downside - they were a bit slow on serving drinks - and prices were very similar to the UK - (although we found this all over Meloneras not just our hotel). Slightly strange thing about this hotel is that they didn't seem to sell any 'snack' type food for lunch apart from a ham/cheese toastie. Only other option was a full meal in the restaurant so we opted to eat out every day for lunch.
Location - very central and just a few minutes walk to lots of restaurants, bars and shops.
Pool areas were clean and towels were provided. The only thing to watch out for is the weekends...not sure if this is a destination weekend resort for those living in mainland Europe because the pool area became unbelievably busy Fri/Sat/Sun (as in we couldn't get a bed anywhere!....and yet it seemed to quieten right down in the early part of the week.
Definitley go back

I give this Hotel top marks, all the staff are outstanding, nothing is too much trouble and they always have a smile and take time to speak to you.

We booked a room in the Hotel ( which was fabulous) but whilst sitting by the pool wished we had booked a suite (they call them villas) so decided to ask at reception if it was possible to upgrade to one of these. The gentleman at reception gave us a key to look at one of the poolside villas which luckily for us was available, when my husband and I returned to discuss how much extra this was going to cost us we were very surprised when we were told it would be a gift from the hotel ( it was my husbands birthday the following day) and there would be no extra charge. How often do you get something free in this day and age? Thank you management we greatly appreciated this kind gesture.

The food in the restaurant was outstanding, so much choice we wanted to try everything and we did (hence the big weight gains). The poolside bars also served toasted sandwiches and a wide range of tasty snacks at a reasonable price no need to leave the Hotel to look for cheaper lunch time snacks.

The cleanliness of the Hotel was a credit to the cleaning ladies. We would return to our room and always find a swan made from the towels and lots of chocolates around it.

The two large pools are great for swimming or just cooling off. There are plenty of comfortable sunbeds no need to get up at the crack of dawn.

There is a gate at the rear of the Hotel which opens on to a lovely promenade that provides long walks to the left or right of the Hotel and it is all flat. You are given a key to the gate and you will often see a security guard patrolling the area.

The evening entertainment was a pleasant surprise we watched a Bee Gees tribute, Tina Turner tribute and three girls playing electric violins and cello all were very good. There is also a resident band "Moonlight" who played before and after dinner.

Enjoy your stay, we certainly enjoyed ours.

Room Tip: Ladies take your own hairdryer. Book a suite well worth it.

We stayed here for 12 days, and we had a great time. We had no hotel room but a suite located in the very large garden of this resort. We recommended to book such a suite, its clean, large, own balcony with nice chairs. Its a hotel for people who look for a quiet place and luxureos. We did only book breakfast and this was great. Dinner we went walking over the beautiful boulevard, there are a lot of places where you can choose between. Also the service in the hotel is excellent!!! After one night sleeping on the hard matrasses(i have back problems) i asked at the reception for a solution; they changed our matrasses for 2 complete new soft ones!! excellent service!
It is not a hotel for children, to quiet for them, and no kidsclub. We did book direct transfer from airport to hotel, is excellent.
So we recommend definitely this hotel for couples who what a quiet luxureos vacation!!

Room Tip: book a suite in the large garden, is great!

We stayed at this lovely hotel this month. It is well-located on the island - not too crowded, not too remote. Very good restaurants are very nearby. We had a street-facing room, and the rooms are quite good, although if we stayed again, we would book one of the apartments at the pool instead. We had to change rooms once because of a musty odour in our room.
The best experience at this hotel is the service - from the breakfast staff, to the reception, to the bar staff. Everyone is kind, friendly and good-humoured. It seemed that nothing was a trouble at all.
Although the hotel is a somewhat typical, large hotel we still had one of our most enjoyable hotel experiences in the Canaries, and we would stay there again.

Room Tip: The pool apartments seemed the nicest. If staying in the hotel, don't ask for pool facing, as t...

Went with another couple we had a great holiday, we where met at the hotel entance by a porter who took our bags to reception, check in was good free drink in the bar while the rooms etc where sorted out. We had nice rooms overlooking the gardens, all mod cons in the rooms etc.
You cannot fault this hotel in any respect' from the domestic staff to the managers they always smile and speak to you and will do anything for you if it is possible.
The hotel had a lot of german visitors we had no problems with them, all in all a good holiday we will be going back later on in the year.
It was a expensive holiday but you pay for what you get and thats a lot.

we had a terrific holiday! the hotel was fantastic and staff went out of the way to make guests feel extra special. We had a couple of issues with the toilet and aircon in the room, but these were responded to immediately and within literally a few minutes of being reported, were sorted out. First class! The pool area was great, no problems getting loungers! Very clean throughout the whole hotel. Near to the main shopping areas too, which meant evening strolls along the promenade were even better as there was lots to see and do. The only issue we had was the queue at the buffet at dinner and thought that it detracted from the overall high quality feel. Table service is an option though to get round this though. Overall we thought it to be a really great hotel.
