“Shame we could only eat once-great food”
Reviewed August 14, 2012

After reading the reviews and as we were staying not far away we managed to make it here on our last day of holiday. Great shame -= but also lucky ( as we'd have come back daily otherwise!! and added kilos). The restaurant is small but friendly with we were told a daily changing tapas menu as well as a 3 course lunch, We opted for the tapas and shared five plates(large) between the four of us- prawn and pepper salad (tasty, with a slight kick but very fresh), octopus and chick pea stew ( wonderfully soft and right balance of condiments- beautiful), tuna chunks in a fabulously rich tomato and onion sauce- mmmm), little chorizos and a lovely spinach tortilla. Dessert was fab- mango mousse to die for and a lovely vanilla pudding. Wish we had the restaurant nearby here in the UK- we'd be there daily!!

“Just perfect”
Reviewed July 30, 2012 via mobile

I totally agree with a previous review as this is one of the best and authentic restaurants in the area, seafood is amazing and service is first class, definitely recommended if you are in maspalomas.

“Best restaurant in Maspalomas”
Reviewed June 4, 2012

From outside this restaurant looks more like a cafe but I have to say it was the best meal I had during trip to Maspalomas. They do not use menus as food changes daily but waitstaff were more than happy to make recommendations. I loved the crab crepes, very fresh and the prawns were sweet and delicious. My husband even ordered dessert and he never eats dessert. Good service and excellent value, a must.

“Great Tapas for fair price!!”
Reviewed May 15, 2011

Unfortunately we found the tapas bar only at our last evening, because it´s not directly at the city center. With a taxi (4 Euro) you can go there easily.
We have been at Tango y tapas before, but compared to Joses it´s really a tourist trap.
We had four glasses of red wine (good house wine) and a lot of tapas for two people and we paid 33 Euro (two Euro per bread tapa). Good Service, english and german speaking and is recommanded and visited by spanish people.
