It has a good placement, about 10 minutes from a beach.
If you take a room with pool view you will see mountains (under trees so you shouldn't be on lower floor).
Drinks for lunch and dinner are paid.
As I understand Wi-Fi point set up near reception only so in room it has poor quality.

Room tip: Choose room with pool view.

We travelled as a family; party of 4, Partner, Brother and 20 yr old son. We had a long transfer from Barcelona on a shared bus 3hrs 15 mins! - tip (take the Airport bus for 14.5 euros ea way takes 2 hours) arriving after 21.00 hungry and tired....Check-in was seamless and we were urged to leave our bags securely and head down whilst they were still serving Dinner (19.30-21.30)...we needn`t have worried - all the dishes were constantly being topped up freshly and what a feast, over the week we enjoyed all manner of seafood - Calamari, Langustines, swordfish steak, Salmon ....even monkfish tails; often freshly cooked to order. Meat eaters and vegetarians alike were also superbly catered for.....really spoilt for choice :) There was fruit, ice cream, chocolate fountain, sorbets, petit fours usually a gateaux and don`t miss the Catalan custard pie! The food was excellent - beyond critism. We were full board and never went to eat anywhere else.
We had read previous reviews about the size of the rooms.....for 2 they're fine....we had 2 15kg bags and found storage space for everything; no leaking shower either ….we were overlooking the apartments at the back....but hey ho that's where the locals live and we didn`t want the pay a premium for a `view`.
The staff; made the holiday for us; without exception from check in, housekeeping, masseuse (the best massage ever! ) , bar staff but particularly Restaurant, the chefs and waiting on - without exception - made eye contact and really went above and beyond to interact. Special praise to maître` d - Florin he was professional efficient and very humorous.
In the interests of a balanced review, the pool was cool to say the least - the spa was murky on the first day due to water evaporation and not filtering properly - this was rectified but we didn`t fancy it after that. However loads of sunbeds - and a no saving policy keeps everyone happy.
We loved Tossa de Mar and when we return will be back at GHT Sa Riera - They even did us a massive breakfast bag to take to the airport - Thankyou all !

Best bits: friendly serving staff in the restaurant and on reception; jacuzzi; large and comfy bed; decent bar; cold meal offered on our late evening arrival; bed turned down every day

Worst bits: lack of hanging space/drawers/hooks for clothes (barely enough for one person); low quality hot choices on the evening buffet (think tepid food, chewy meat and tinned veg); dusty/mucky bedroom floor upon arrival; lots of plastic and paper waste created at meal times (such as individual plastic tea bag wrappers)

Other points: the Thursday market (selling mostly junk but good fruit/veg/food) is held right in front of the hotel. The salad and dessert options in the evening are decent enough, as is breakfast. There is a room for storing luggage prior to departure. The hotel is only 5 mins on foot from the bus station - you can visit Girona by changing buses at Lloret de Mar - and the main beach. Tossa is a pretty, clean and traditional resort which we loved!

Basically, if Premier Inn did hotels in the sun, they'd look like this. Don't expect (or pay!) much and you won't be disappointed.

We have just returned from a weeks stay at this hotel. We arrived on a very wet cold and windy day. Thankfully after we purchased an umbrella and a rainproof jacket, the next day the weather changed and from then on it was beautifully sunny and warm. We arrived quite early, and the room wasn't ready; so we had a coffee in the bar while we waited. When our room was ready we unpacked. We paid 20 euros to have a fridge, which was very small. The room was fine, we paid extra and had a view over the pool, which was good to watch the comings and goings. The room was very clean and well presented, although I would say quite minimalist. Not a lot of storage space, we took extra hangers as someone had advised in an earlier review. We were pleased there were duvets available, as it was quite cold at night. The beds were very comfortable, and the cleaning was very good. The balconies are quite small, a little table and two chairs, big enough for drinks. Meals in the restaurant were fine, good selection both for breakfast and evening meal. We were surprised when we wanted to order a light snack to eat by the pool area, that you could only have chips, despite the fact that there were items advertised on placards in the bar, so didn't understand that at all.The pool was refreshing to cool down in. We walked to the front of an evening, or else had a drink in the lobby, very quiet, not much activity. A varied age group staying at the hotel which was lovely. We liked Tossa de Mar very much, quite unspoilt and traditional, unlike Loret de Mar, where we caught the bus to, not to our taste at all. The castle is somewhere you must go, beautiful views and very historic. Also the little tourist train is a nice diversion, takes you around the town.We had a couple of days on the beach, a short walk from the hotel, loungers reasonable, the sea was a bit rough, but looked very inviting. Lots of lovely restaurants at the back of the beach, and walks along the front very pleasant. Many shops in narrow streets to explore. All in all a lovely stay, we will go back to Tossa, maybe try a different hotel, but this one was fine.

Room tip: We were in 305, overlooking the pool, nice and sunny most of day.

We stayed here for a week as part of a Jet2holiday. The location is very good with a 10 minute walk to the main town and beach. The room was adequate in size with a very good spacious shower. The room was cleaned everyday and kept very clean. All rooms have a small balcony but we had a poor view of neighboring apartments. However we did not mind although some might be put off.
The hotel was very clean and had a good restaurant, we were just B&B. There were plenty of choices at breakfast including bacon and eggs cooked to order. The only negative was that there was only one coffee machine leading to queues on most mornings.
There is a small outdoor pool and a Jacuzzi. The pool was supposed to be heated but it wasn't.
The only other negative was the charges for the use of the fridge and safe, in the room, some 40 euros.
On the whole we were very pleased and would stay there again.

Room tip: Request a room overlooking the pool
