We had two self catering studios on the 5th floor, the studios are small but well equipped with coffee maker, kettle, microwave, electric hobs, and plenty of cutlery, utensils, pans and dishes.
Would say, however, that the studios are a bit cramped for three adults, with a pull out bed for the third bed, and would probably suit a couple with child much better.
Pool is on the small side and gets very busy peak season, children prefer the main pool to the kiddie pool and spend most of their time dive-bombing the pool, we swum early in the day or late in the day for this reason, there is a long list of 'pool rules' on display in several languages but nobody takes any notice which makes it difficult for everyone to enjoy the pool. I would suggest that during peak season a member of staff could do a quick tour of the pool every couple of hours to prevent bad pool behaviour because this doesn't only lead to sensible pool users becoming annoyed but could lead to accidents.
Overall, we found the hotel to be clean, well-run (with the exception of the pool), and the desk staff were always very friendly and helpful.
The cleaners cleaned our room every day which was exceptional service.
There are ramps outside the hotel and a lift inside so disabled guests could stay here.
Cannot comment on the food for we were S/C, but did not hear any complaints from fellow guests.
Again, would just like to see a tightening up of the pool rules especially during peak season, NO BALL GAMES, NO DIVING/DIVE BOMBING, NO RUNNING AROUND THE POOL.

Room Tip: Rooms on the higher levels are quieter.

Basic, clean, good air con. Kitchen fully equipped, tiny bath but good shower. However the pool is very small but there is a sandy beach 5 minutes down the road. Hotel bar and restaurant are very good and great food. Would definitely return!

We stayed here earlier in the month (July 2013). We checked Trip Advisor first and requested a high room as this was advised. Our apartment was on top (5th) floor and overlooked the pool. You could just see the turret of the castle and the lighthouse in the distance. We had a very wide balcony and the kitchen area had al we needed to prepare and cook light meals on it. The room is at the end of a corridor so there was no noise from other hotel users getting to their rooms at night. The pool was used mainly by families and there were lots of sunbeds available. Within a few minutes walk you can reach the supermarkets and a little further there is the town. The beds were a bit too hard for our liking but apart from that it was perfect for a simple break away. The room was cleaned and fresh towels available every couple of days. The receptionists went out of their way to help with any enquiry we had.

Room Tip: I would advise the 5th floor an overlooking their pool as not as much sun on other side.

This is a great little hotel, has everything you would need.
The staff are friendly and the rooms are clean and have air con & a kitchenette with microwave etc.
The supermarket is really close by and the food at the hotel is first class.
Small ish pool but plenty of sunbeds and the beach is a nice short walk away.
Lovely resort, beautiful scenery and lovely people. Would not hesitate to return.

I travelled with my parents and my older brother, we all like to keep busy, so we didn't spend much time in the actual hotel- but when we were there it was lovely!
A large room with kitchen facilities, balcony, bathroom and wardrobe space was more than enough for two people. The rooms were cleaned every couple of days. Other than the heat, the only thing that made sleeping a problem was the noise of the fridge! You are able to turn it off if you don't need it, but that and the air-con are noisy.
The staff, particularly the reception staff, were fantastic. Always friendly and smiling and able to help with anything we needed.
We ate in the hotel buffet twice as we preferred to eat in a variety of restaurants both close by, or by the beach, but when we did stay in there was a good variety of food.
I'm a keen swimmer, so the only real disappointment was the size of the pool. You are able to swim in it, but when there's any more than 5 people in the pool it gets a bit cramped. Saying that, it's fine for a quick dip if you're not much of a swimmer, and there was always plenty of sunbeds around the pool.
We had a few games of table tennis which is right by the pool, next to the arcade room which we didn't use.
We were able to get free wifi by asking our Thompson rep, but there is a wifi you pay for at the hotel also, so just ask.
The hotel is in a lovely area, Tossa De Mar is very unspoilt, has lovely beaches and lots of tapas places and other restaurants a short walk away.
Recommend!
