Stay away from SA Barca when you dine in Tossa se Mar. Our visit to Sa Barca provided us with our worse meal since our arrival in Spain 7 days ago. The paella come with 2 overcooked, shriveled muscles, one mushy shrimp and a pile of rice which was incredibly salt. I've had paella numerous time and this was in edible. The sea bream my wife ordered was past its prime (very fishy) and probably should have been beat used as bait. The prixfixe menu which we ordered from seems like a good deal but beware the wine which comes with the meal is sub par. When I complained about the paella and the fish the waiter became belligerent and defensive and in fact refused to remove the coat from our bill even though we ate almost none of either entree. The highlight of the meal was the very ordinary pizza my son ordered. In summary the olmy thing worse than the food was the service. Our advice is to RUN away from SA Barca and try any of the multiple restaurant offerings in Tossa de Mar.

Most menu el dia offerings in Tossa are basic but not here.A wide choice of 8 starters and mains (some with supplements) which include Iberico ham with asparagus, and simi tomba make this great value as the portions are fresh and substantial. Price includes bread, wine and dessert with choice.
Always popular with a regular clientele who recognise good value cooking and presentation.
Can get busy, especially at weekends but the service is never slow.

The service was great; friendly and fast. We had tapas (loved the spicy potatoes), paella negro (not a fan), pizza (teenage boy, of course), and a fish dish. Priced well and served with a smile.

This is a good restaurant with a very good menu. The staff is very friendly and charming. Quite a big restaurant, with good Spanish food. Make sure to check out the specials.

We have been eating here for many years but the cooking and menus this year were really substantial and great value.Visitors were flocking in and it seemed busy every single night we passed by.
We managed to get the last table for 4 outside one early evening as all the others were taken by 7.30 so popular this restaurant has become. Highlights of the menu were real old fashioned prawn cocktail, lovely chicken, grilled sardines and a fish stew. The Torres Cresta Rosa wine was only €8.60 were as all the other restaurants are charging over €12.We will be returning next Spring.
