Our group of 4 stayed here in the middle of our Norway in a Nutshell tour. The room was large and more than met our needs. It was warm and a wonderful reprief from the rain outside. There was a lovely balcony outside with a swing that you could sit out and enjoy the beauty of surrounding fjord. I'd definitely recommend a stay here!

Great apartment in a beautiful place.
We are a family of three from India on our first trip to Norway. This is a two bedroom apartment. One bedroom has bunk bed and other one has twin beds (small rooms).
But the Living room is LARGE and has very good kith en ( microwave can be added though).
The owner appears to be tough on the website and when you reach will make you sign a letter, believe me they are wonderful people.
They went out of their way to give us Free Internet cable connection the moment they noticed
Laptop with us.
Cycles can be rented from them( less expensive than outside)
Supermarket CoOp is just a minute away.
We did Kayak +hike with the Nord group, one of the best activities.
Also the speed boat allows you a very different view ( up close and personnel ) of the Fjords.
It is simply too beautiful to stay here for only two days.
Would like to return to Flam and stay for more day with the same people.
Very clean and well furnished apartment.
Ideal for Veg and special diet needs.

Great apartament in the right place
We stayed 3 nights in this apartment. It is located just in the right place, close to the Flam train station and to visit the Fjords... but not much more. I recommend the train but also, if you have a car, do the same way following the train on the road. It's even more wonderful.

The apartment is nice, clean and big. You can see every morning a different cruise ship from the terrace and see all the tourists running to the train station. Fully recommended by its location, but not for long stays.

Great place, good value for Norway
The apartment was clean, comfortable and recently renovated. Check-in was simple. There isn't that much in Flam, it is a base to go to other places and to do things such as kayak on the fjords, thus the fact that there is no view was not an issue. The apartment exceeded our expectations. It would have been nice to have wi-fi.

Nice apartment, but nothing special
The apartment we had was a 2 bedroom, and although it was very modern and nice, we were overall pretty dissapointed with Flam Ferdaminne. From their website it looks like all the apartments have a view, unfortunately we didn't. We looked at a cafe and couldn't even keep the lounge private as there wasn't a blind The owners weren't very friendly and they run the busy souvenier shop downstairs and they made us feel like an inconvenience turning up. Our 'welcome' was a big sheet of rules we had to sign. So nice apartment, but don't expect any hospitality or help with the area. Flam is all about the cruise ships (which are constantly parked out front), though the fjord ferry cruise and rail were really nice. Going to the brewery there with the tasting rack was good fun.

Comfortable and convenient
We stayed there with my partner for a night, arriving by train from Oslo, and leaving next day by ferry to see the fjords. So we wanted a convenient spot to explore Flam and its surrounding easily, there isn't much in Flam, and there isn't anything cheap... This place is very clean as other reviews already said, and I can confirm that the bedroom is ridiculously small compared to the size of the open plan living room. The beds are also tiny, and a twin (although I had requested a double). The owner is polite, and that is it, don't expect a map of the town or any explanation of any sort. Also, there is no coffee, no tea waiting for you when you get there, so be prepared. That being said, there's a small supermarket 100m away, and the kitchen is very well equipped. It's also probably the biggest TV screen I've every seen!

If you stay longer than a few days, you probably want a car there to explore, otherwise great place to be in Flam.
