This is our third visit to the Premier Park (in 5 years), and we stay here when visiting friends nearby because of the facilities, staff and food. Nice little swimming pool, spa rooms, gym (bikes, walking machines and some free weights), in addition to a wide range of Spa treatments (which you are can download, and translate with Google translate).
We had a room facing the park, and with a little balcony -which we have had before, and it is more than adequate. Bed springs / supports a bit squeaky, and decor probably needs a freshening up.
Breakfast ? Fresh meats, fruit, bread, a range of eggs, teas, juices, and 'make your own waffles". You cant go far wrong.
The staff have always been polite and helpful in our dealing with them, and they have excellent English.
A note for English speaking visitors re the TV, you will have to pay for some English channels (we didnt, as we had little time in the room). And in the 'Tea making facilities' debate -there are none in the room, but there is a machine in the foyer.
The hotel overlooks a pretty park - which leads on to a large wooded area - ideal for walks / cycling - if that is your thing, and is a few mins walk from the main shops of Bad Lippspringe.
We ate once in the Hotel restaurant, and as per our previous visits, no complaints about the quality.
Premier Park also holds functions / conferences, so is an 'all round' venue.

As long our are friends are in the area, we will be choosing this hotel to stay, and its a case of trying to give an honest, and fair critique that I mention the decor. We look forward to our next visit.

Room Tip: Pay a little extra, and have a room with a Park view.

This hotel is my hands down favorite for business trips to Padreborn / Bielefeld area. It's a few Km's outside of Paderborn but easily reached with the help of your Navi system. Very consistent quality of rooms, staff, room cleanliness. I've always experienced excellent sleep quality (especially after an internatial over-night flight). While there are many good-to-excellent local restaurants, the hotel dining room is very worthwhile and very excellent as well, plus it's only a short relaxing walk to the bar for a night cap & no need to drive back to your suite. The spa facilities are not to be missed, its in the European style so some Westerners may be surprised, worth the trip just for the spa!

a solid four star, set in the midst of the local gardens and park. clean, large and modern rooms, pools, swimming pond, extensive spa, good restaurant, great breakfast buffet, smallish bar with friendly bartender. the addition out back, House Anna, is new and has air conditioned rooms. 24 hour front desk, but room service ends at 22:00h. good in every season; (we've stayed there at least a dozen times), but snow is an issue. the lot is not cleared and getting in and out can be distressing, adding insult to injury is the Euro 6.00 daily parking fee.

Room Tip: aircon: book House Anna, but all rooms are nice and well-equipped.

Another stay in this hotel and my initial impressions remain accurate.

This is a nice hotel with very friendly and - in the main - professional staff. Previously we have stayed in a suite which was excellent - but with no air-con it was a struggle to maintain an acceptable temperature despite the wet and cool weather.

This time - for just one night - I had a really nice double room in a newer part of the hotel and whilst there was still no tea coffee facilities there was an iron and ironing board and the room had air-con. Essential on a night when the outside temperature was above 35 C.

The cafe area that I enjoyed on my first ever visit was - as usual - closed - and I was ignored by the staff in the restaurant. I still belive that customer service in Germany is a very dark art - based on the theory of that's what we offer - take it or leave it. And I have lived here for 37 years. There is quite a good cafe in the "park" outside the hotel and service there was excellent.

Cleanliness and nice staff are definite plus points in this hotel - but the restaurant experience remains - though vastly improved - remains mediocre really. I had a veal schnitzel, salad and fried potatoes followed by ice-cream and a chocolate tart. Service was good though.

Breakfast is a much better experience and the home-made muesli is brilliant.

Probably the best hotel in the area and for that reason I would certainly return.

Another stay in this hotel and my initial impressions remain accurate.

This is a nice hotel with very freindly and - in the main - professional staff. Previously we have stayed in a suite which was excellent - but with no air con it was a struggle to maintain an acceptable temperature despite the wet and cool weather. This time - for just one night - we had a fairly standard double room. Not really 4 star though - no tea coffee facilities and no trouser press. Poor hairdryer and dreadful shower which ran hot and cold and would not stay where you put it. The water was either scalding hot or stone cold.

The cafe area that I enjoyed on my very first visit was - as usual - closed on Monday. How can you close a guest facility on a Monday!! Customer service in Germany is a very dark art - based on the theory of that's what we offer - take it or leave it.

Cleanliness and nice staff are definite plus points in this hotel - but the restaurant experience remains outrageously bad. Probably the worst in my experience of any hotel of this alledged quality and close to an all time bad anywhere. I had a pork schnitzel, salad and under cooked potatoes - as usual it would have been much better from the local Schnell Imbiss. If you do stay here - don't eat here. Though in Germany most things are closed on Mondays so there is little choice.

Breakfast is a much better experience though the use of cheap cereals and orange juice is silly in a hotel of this standard. The home made muesli is brilliant though.

Probably the best hotel in the area and for that reason we would certainly return. But someone needs to tell the owner / management that the Chef needs sacking !!
