Our stay at the Sevan Parc Hotel was a bit troubled by the fact that they had two weddings running that day. We were a bit upset not to have been forwarned and that our room was just facing the wrong way. This being said, the noise was not unbearable and the person at the welcoming desk offered us a discount the next day w/o us asking for anything. Leaving aside the special circumstances, rooms are spacious, beds are OK and the swimming pool is really nice. Also a bit out of the way.

We and our kids aged 10 and 12 spent two weeks at the Hotel Sevan in Pertuis in August 2011. Spacious rooms, quiet location, great park and pool, minigolf and tennis all in the middle of Provence - what else would you want for a relaxing holiday with the kids! The Restaurant L'Olivier is the fine dining restaurant which has excelled throughout our two weeks. La Paillote is the informal and lively alternative which we preferred during the day. Staff was friendly; it also speaks for itself that all three sons of the resort's founder still work successfully for their hotel and restaurant; there is ownership across the board. We will definitely go back next year to this well kept secret. - Christina, London

Room Tip: Rooms towards the road are a bit cheaper and offer a great view to the Luberon mountains. In contras...

We stayed there for one night with my gf, so that we could have dinner with friends in the "Paillote" restaurant that is inside the hotel.

Overall a good experience, hotel was mostly empty at this time.
We had a nice room with garden view and a small balcony.

We will certainly go again if we need to stay in the area.

We stayed for a week in September with a large group and had a wonderful stay at Hotel Sevan. It is in a relatively quiet town north of Aix en Provence and was a decent base for many forays to towns in Provence. We had a very good dinner at the restaurant one night. The hotel rates are extremely reasonable and include breakfast. The rooms are modestly furnished, not a bad size. The shower is tricky for Americans. We could never figure out how to take one without getting water all over the floor.

There are two very nice pools and a beautiful park-like garden. Ask for a room overlooking the garden.

It is impossible not to enjoy Provence in September. The weather was spectacular. Each village we visited was picturesque. There are many wonderful things to see in the area. Our highlights of the week were:

St. Remy and Glanum (the ruins just outside of town)
Arles
Les Baux
Lourmarin
Bonnieux
Market day in Pertuis
Aix en Provence
Pont du Gard
Visit to a winery

If you plan on exploring Provence and are looking for good value, Hotel Sevan could work.
