Set on the road just before the tunnel and across the road from the river running through Bouillon, this is a Family run hotel that punches above its weight.

Rooms are all unique and old worldly comfortable. Clean, functional and charming probably describes this hotel. The staff are so very polite and really to try to make your stay as comfortable as possible.

Dinner was delicious as was breakfast the following morning.

You are right in the heart of Bouillon yet you can relax on the pavement terrace without a care in the World.

Lovely

This hotel is situated in the heart of Bouillon overlooking the river and nearby castle. Rather peculiar interior or some may describe it as querky but every inch of space is decorated with some rather random exhibits shall we say. Our room was large but dark and gloomy an horrendous bed cover that had seen better days. Beneath it was clean white linen that looked much better without the cover. It was far too hot in the room and there was a rotating floor standing cooling system that didnt really help bring down the temperature. Our window was like a huge door at pavement level so we could not open it. The bathroom was the strangest thing I have ever seen with carpeted walls and floor! In dark brown too, just awful. On a very positive note the food here was tremendous. We thoroughly enjoyed a three course evening meal of spicy garlic prawns, the best ever steak and potatoes, and an eton mess for dessert. The staff were all great too. Was pleased to be leaving the next morning after a superb breakfast as ultimately the food was the highlight of our stay here.

We stayed at the hotel during the new year 2015-2016. I booked 2 nights, hoping to have a lovely romantic stay with my wife at the heart of the Belgian Ardennes. I wanted an hotel full of character and comfortable.

Full of character: definitely. Sadly, the character is the one of a 80's german soap which look very tired.

The room was very small.

The biggest disappointment is the bar/lounge area... They have a lovely area but for smokers! If are not a smoker, you end up next the entrance, in the way of other guests.

Room Tip: Ask to have a room on the river side (but they charge more because of the view)

Stayed here for a week whilst on a motorbiking trip. Friendly staff (a basic understanding of french would be beneficial to guests) and excellent continental breakfast. Our room was pleasant enough albeit a little dark and a proper shower would have been nice. Free wifi but not a great connection. All in all though we had a very enjoyable stay.
