This hotel's name says (almost) all. The view of the town below, the bend in the Semois River and the looming castle on the opposite hill is among the best we have experienced at any hotel. Our reservation included a very well-prepared and presented three-course dinner (and breakfast) in the tasteful dining room, and made the price of the stay a good value. The public rooms and terrace are attractively decorated in a modern lodge type style. Wi-fi is available only in the public rooms. Many stairs to the upper floors, where our room was clean, comfortable, very spacious but somewhat spartan and dated -- not a match for the public rooms. Friendly, English speaking staff. Free on street was easy to find just in front of the hotel. A general feeling of relaxation in a beautiful setting.

We arrived by bus from Libramont (connecting easily with a train from Brussels). From the bus stop just across the bridge, it's an easy walk up to the hotel. As you cross the bridge, look for a sign to the left hand side, you go up that road a little then take a fairly sharp/steep turn to the right; this road then levels out and you're at the hotel. You can also turn right after the bridge, by the Siciliano Italian restaurant, and go up that hill before turning left and going up another hill. There are also pedestrian steps, but these are not terribly safe if you have luggage.
The staff at this hotel are superb, very attentive, polite and friendly. Our room (a "superior" room) had a separate bathroom and toilet and, like most rooms, a view of the castle, with double french windows which meant we could open them in the afternoon and enjoy the view.. It was also directly above the terrace and bar, which we thought would result in noise, but as it turned out it didn't. Bear in mind that the bar downstairs is open until 01:00, so you can get people coming upstairs all at once and not being very quiet.
We had some drinks on the terrace each evening and service was excellent. You can stay half-board here; we didn't, as it was very hot and we didn't want to eat much, but their restaurant had very good reviews and they did offer to provide vegetarian food for us. Breakfast was great; there was a phenomenal choice of food to suit most tastes and diets. We particularly enjoyed the pancake grill which we used to make small pancakes and ate these with the fresh jam and honey.
If you do go to Bouillon by bus from Libramont, bear in mind that the bus route through the village is one-way and that the bus to Libramont comes on the same side of the river as the hotel - don't do what we did and cross the river to wait for a bus! There is a bus stop by the main square (the bus number is 8).
The wi-fi signal was pretty poor except on the terrace or lobby, so it's an excellent hotel to go to if you want to interact with each other and participate in real activities.

Room Tip: Upper floors will have better views of the castle, but won't have terraces.

Hotel on the hill with a great view over Bouillon and it's castle. there is no garden, but the area is very quit. You can reach Bouillon via stairs, but it is quite a descent (and climb to get back) Better take a car. the Hotel has no Airco, and it can be quite warm in the rooms as nothing is blocking the sun. The rooms are spacious, but the beds are terrible. Some sort of plastic on the mattresses, makes a lot of noise when you turn over.
There is a minibar and there are enough free sockets, but there is no safe
there is no Wifi in the rooms. There is free WiFi in the lounge, but (almost) none in the restaurant.
The food in the restaurant is very good and has good price/quality. The breakfast on the other hand is a DIY. bake your own pancakes and eggs, boil your own eggs, etc. I prefer things I can just take when I am on holiday.
I had a great time in Bouillon, but some things in the hotel could have been better. It is a great place for dining though and worth to go there when you stay somewhere else.

Room Tip: all rooms have a good view. it's is a quit location.

We stayed here for one night and found the whole experience first class. The room was very well appointed with a wonderful view of the castle. The public areas were very spacious with comfortable seating and beautifully decorated. There was a lovely west facing terrace at the front of the hotel great for a pre dinner drink. The best was the food both evening meal and breakfast with great choice and quality. I would definitely recommend the half board option. Bouillon is a beautiful place and I wished we had stayed an extra night to spend some time looking around thoroughly. A great place to stop over and I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is located at top of hill with an amazing view of the castle and the town. We had perfect rooms, 12 and 14, that were large and clean. The lobby is beautifully decorated and has a very eclectic flare while keeping it inviting and cozy. We were there the night of our daughters birthday and I mentioned at check-in just during normal conversation. The owner remembered and during dinner, that night brought our a wonderful dessert with a Roman candle and they played Happy Birthday over the speakers in the restaurant. It was magical. The owners went out of their way to make sure we felt at home. Breakfast was very good and dinner was as well.

Parking is tight and the street is small. We still did not have an issue, but this is an FYI. Also, should be noted that if you want to use the pool and spa you need to reserve in advance as it done in 2-hour blocks for private use. A large part of the staff does not speak English, but the owner does and is happy to help.

Room Tip: Pick a room with a view
