The modern restaurant with sea view in Blankenberge is worth a visit. Service may be a bit slow, but nothing really to complain about. Food is delicious, we had the "Menu Bon Vivant". As "amuse" we had a carpaccio from scallops with citrus fruits, very tasteful. Followed by a very original "burger" with sautéed foie gras of duck, a chutney of mango and a fennel ketchup with brioche, a great combination, surprisingly well done. As main course we had a fillet of sole with scallops, sesame, carottes and physialis. A real pleasure to look at and to taste! For dessert there was a crème au citron with meringue italienne and chocolate epicée, a great finish. See the photos to get an impression :-)
Would definitely go again when close to Blankenberge.
