We had just got off the tram and needed to eat before our train back to Brussels. We had about an hour and, rather than spend time walking up to the promenade, we spotted this restaurant across the road (next to the station). Although we had no reserved table, and they were busy, we were quickly shown to a table for four. After being served with drinks (more excellent Belgian beer) we became concerned that we might not have time for us to catch our train. However, after a quick word with the proprietor, we were quickly served with an amuse bouche then our main courses which came in good time for us to enjoy the excellent food. A quick walk over the road and we were en-route back to Brussels - happy and contented.
