We were staying in the area over the Easter break and booked in for a meal on our first night. Having eaten here a few years ago and then seeing it go a little downhill, it was nice to see this pub back to its very best. The landlord and staff were friendly and welcoming and the food was delicious. Our two children (6 and 9) loved the wide choice of kids meals - although be warned they are large portions so don't expect empty plates! Our food was fantastic and was accompanied with some nice local ale.
We enjoyed it so much that we booked for another 2 nights. The place is a lovely local pub with a nice welcoming atmosphere that makes holiday makers feel welcome.
