Description: La Table de Haute-Serre is a creation of Bertrand-Gabriel Vigouroux, who imagined the original concept of «bistronomie» in the winery. Barrel notes, stone cellars, modern art, design architecture, culinary creativity, and oenological boldness blend naturally in a single setting. There is the friendly atmosphere and warm hospitality of a bistro set in a stylish and modem loft. The «à la Carte» menu is derived from gastronomic cuisine with a menu of the day prepared from daily market produces. You will be able to taste a foie gras terrine with chocolate, a risotto with black truffle, a roast baron of lamb with thyme, a Quercy saffron crème brûlée or a Gariguette strawberry soup with Malbec etc.

Our group of three couples enjoyed our visit to Chateau de Haute-Serre. Our tour guide (who also lead the tasting) was very knowledgeable. We started with a conversation in the vineyard, discussing the history of the vines, the growing & picking process and the development of new wines.

Our tour then continued indoors, where many details of the winemaking process was discussed. We followed the path of the grapes through their journey into wine, learning a great deal along the way.

The tasting (of six wines) included whites, a rose and two red. We were very pleased with our guide's commitment to our visit.

Lunch was also good. There were three fixed menus; I believe our group tried everything on the menu. This was a lengthy, informative visit which we would recommend.

The Winery is easy to find and is very well presented. It appears to be clean and well maintained.

We booked a visit of the winery followed by an evening meal in the restaurant. The visit was very informative and the guide was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. He also spoke fluent English which made the experience even better. We also got to taste a couple of Malbec wines.
The restaurant offers a choice of set menus. We went for the most expensive menu which offered a choice of 2 starters/ 2 mains/ 2 desserts. As we wanted to try everything, my partner and I ordered different starters/ mains/ desserts. And every single dish was delicious! With our meal, we also tried the rose and white wine made in the winery and both were stunning! The food was sophisticated without being pretentious, the service was good and the staff friendly. And all this in a stunning location. Highly recommended.

We had reservations for lunch after our visit to Pech Merle. The meal did not disappoint. We enjoyed a bottle of local wine with our meal. The service was excellent and we enjoyed a pleasant meal with friends. My only disappointment was the weather did not allow us to tour the winery. I highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the area.

We booked a visit to the winery and dinner via the sister Chateau, Chateau du Mercues. The vineyard visit was excellent and we learnt a lot about the area and making Malbec wine. It was not rushed at all and included a tasting of the wonderful wines, which we had to get, they were so good.
Dinner did not disappoint either, beautifully presented and very good indeed. The service was exceptional, thank you.
