Had gone with my family...the staff were gr8..the cottages excellent..the digital switches were fancy but confusing...d food was fine..the whole atmosphere was good with the stream and the waterfalls. The pool was well kept. The only problem was its lack of privacy specially wen functions r conducted. Was disappointed to c used plates and cups in the pool and the changing bath stinking as the toilets were not flushed.

I Stayed here on 11th and 12th Nov 12 with my family and uncle. This hotel was truly awesome, the best thing about this hotel is its staff who are extremely proffessional and courteous. The layout of the resort is well spaced out and a lot of activities like zip line, swimming pool, cycling, archery, indoor games trekking etc.
The best part that my family enjoyed was the zip line which was truly awesome.
Rooms were spacious and clean.Food was good.Restaurant staff were very helpful and friendly.
Hoping to come back to this resort next time.

Room Tip: All rooms facing the stream are good and quite.

I had been to this place quite some time ago along with cousins and found it to be quite good.
Pros:
1. Spacious rooms.
2. Excellent walkways.
3. Spas.

Cons:
1. A tad expensive
2. Difficult to locate as it comes after Kalpetta and not many directions available.
3. Food is ok-ok

The establishment is good. We went there this October which is not the right time though.
We were a group of 4 [2 couple] selected the cottage with common living-room which is a good option. We went Oct 2012 . It is an off season. So there was no much crowd. Food was good, But a optional kerala style food would have been nice.

Likes:Ambience,atmosphere,room,Food
Dislikes:Maintenance,game area

Room Tip: Select Cottage with common living room, if you are going in group

A Quiet getaway amidst the hustle and bustle of Kerala! Vythiri Village was an amazing midweek getaway! A tiresome journey with innumerable halts, the resort was a refreshing change. Being a Malayalee, I can get biased but from the welcome till the last minute in the resort is to be cherished.
On a "Team - Building" outing from work, the resort did help us bond well. Mother Earth played it's special role. The team of course was split into various rooms and I was one among the blessed ones to get a heavenly room. It had 2 big double bed with an awesome Jacuzzi which made it even more awesome! And for 2 of us it was more than enough, not to forget a mention about the lil kind of loft we had above us.
Being a "Team Building" outing, the time spent in the cottages were more. The cottages had their special charm. The night treks we made across the bridge had it's charm. The reception was awesome - the traditional style of greeting. The extra efforts taken by the resort to display a fire dance. AMAZING!!
The food- though the Kerala specialties were there like the Kappa and Meen curry. I deeply missed the Appam! But I can't complain, the resort made up for it!
It was a lil town in a valley! An amazing place to be for a Mid week getaway or even a weekend getaway!
Bottom Line - More than AMAZING!!
