Review of Gate of Old Fort

Gate of Old Fort
Reviewed December 15, 2013

It is good to see that the Archeological Survey of India has been taking good care of these monuments. It is close to a number of highly sot after temples such as the Jor Bangla temple and hence the chance of missing it is very unlikely.

This is an unique piece of architecture which needs some interest from ASI. There are chota patthar Darwaja and Bara Patthar Darwaja. Till now the roads passed through these which is not wanted in these days. The roads can be bypassed and the super structures can be maintained to retain their glory.
