“Great location for visiting Rome”
Reviewed April 9, 2014

Nice hotel with comfortable rooms and beds near shopping area and across the street from the train to Rome. Key pad entrance, quiet area in the evenings, clean and friendly. Good restaurant in the building, several others within 6 blocks.

Hotel rooms need renovation and are not up to todays standards of this class of hotels.
I have stayed here at several occasions of many years and the hotel has never been remodernised.

I do not understand why my review has to consist of at least 200 characters.
I coudl cinrinue writing rubbish for another 100 characters which does not add anything to my opinion.

What is the matter with Tripadvisor to ask for this kind of reply?
One should be able to simply state ons opinion without havig to go in all length of detail.
Does Tripadvisor wants us to describe the detail of the bedcovers, the colour of the wallpaper, the hight of the toilet seat???

Cacciani Hotel is very pleasant. It is handily placed close to the station. The staff were extremely polite and helpful. We upgraded to superior room with amazing views from the balcony. They also surprised me on my birthday with a bottle of wine and a rose at dinner. They have a lovely reasonably priced restaurant.
Just a few things let it down. One was the poor breakfast and the other was the tv which had no English speaking channels. There was no info in the room about heating, minibar tariff or map of the town.
If arriving at airport, the hotel offers special discounted taxi transfer of €70. We ended up paying nearly double by not taking up this offer. Once you get your bearings, the trains are very good and cheap. Only €2.10 into Rome.

Room Tip: Room 41 had amazing views beyond station towards hills

I stayed in Cacciani 3 nights in March 2014.
It is a great hotel.
Very friendly, and helpful.
The location is also great, in the center of town.
Wish you to enjoy it also.
I did not eat in their restaurant

Room Tip: Room facing the train station also have a balcony.

The hotel has some rooms with a fantastic view and a great restaurant on the ground floor. It's a great place to get a room if you consider staying in Castelli zone for a couple of days. I would only expect a better cleaning service.

Good little hotel in the centre of Frascati. Kind people, although their English skills are quite limited. The chef is great, and the terrace of the restaurant is a very pleasant place. This is a perfect solution for a stay in town on a business trip.

It is a perfect place to start a visit to Rome.
Well connected to Rome, thanks to a quick train, you can visit Rome without paying prices of Rome Hotels.
Moreover you can restore yourself after a tiring daily tour to Churches and Museums in this small quiet and beautiful town eating in the Hotel Restaurant that anyway, deserves a visit, even if you decide not to sleep in the hotel !!
