because here is yet another great restaurant in our hometown. Il Profumo del Mosto is the latest incarnation of this storefront and I hope it's here to stay. Have eaten here already a few times and have always been impressed. The grand cooking of this area is well represented and superbly executed. Try the spaghetti carbonara, the spaghetti aglio, olio, peperoncino or the spaghetti amatriciana for an outstanding primo piatto. The very traditional abbacchio scottadito (grilled lamb chops) makes for a satisfying secondo piatto especially if paired with a plate of oven roasted, rosemary scented potatoes. Just a few minutes up the hill from the center of town, this trattoria will not disappoint. Service is mannerly, ambiance is clean and simple, prices will not deplete your pocketbook.
