Hotel Flora
Ranked #8 of 14 Hotels in Frascati

Hotel flora is a great property in an average city outside of Rome. The rooms are modern, well appointed, excellent bathrooms, clean and spacious. The common area is quite attractive, and the service accomodating.the breakfast was adequate. The location is convenient to the city center, and good for walking. For the price, the value is outstanding. But unless you have ahold reason to go there, Frascati is a fairly crowded roman suburb with limited sightseeing. Some good restaurants, but very, very tourist oriented. You can use Frascatiit as abase to Rome, but why? That being said, if you do go there, hotel Flora is an excellent choice.

Room Tip: Try not to get on the main street if you want to have the windows open. Noisy

Hotel Flora is close to town yet set in a peaceful location.
For the second year we have stayed in a room with a terrace overlooking Rome. Though the room is not large the terrace is outstanding.
We would recommend both Frascati and the Hotel for easy access to Rome.

I stayed in a room outside of the main hotel and the room was very large. The only downside was having to carry my luggage up the steps to the first floor. The wireless was weak in the room and I had to stand in one place to use Skype. Frascati is very nice and good food was within an easy walk. Great breakfast

Me and my husband stayed there in July 2011 for our honeymoon. It is a lovely,
beautiful hotel, very near the trainstation to Rome and the surroundings are very nice. It is well worth the trainride. In Frascati there are some very good restaurants, better priced than in Rome and you dont feel so much as a tourist.

The staff at Flora was very correct, but perhaps the welcome could have been a bit warmer and smiley. Also it is not possible to lock in your luggage the last day after checkout. You have to leave it under the stairs which I hope they will change since it doesnt feel very safe.

The room was spacious and very clean and elegant. The bed was the best bed I have tried in a hotel and so were the pillows. The temperature in the room was perfect , thanks to a really quiet airconditioner which was a big plus. The breakfast was generous and the gentleman who was in charge of it was very friendly and attentive. Overall a great experience. We will definately come back to Flora and recommend that you visit it too!

My husband and I stayed here for three nights with a tour group. The villas, set in gardens wirh huge trees and tables, looked lovely but our room on the ground floor of the annex, the second villa, was small and gloomy. We had to keep the light on all the time. The bathroom was very old fashioned and badly needed updating! The breakfast buffet (nothing cooked) was what you'd expect in Italy and was fine, better than our previous hotel.. The staff were friendly and polite. Our room and the public rooms I saw were very clean.
We had dinner in the hotel one night and it was very good, I really enjoyed it.
Staying in the annex meant being away from passing traffic noise but I heard very strange other noises. One night, about 3.30am, I was woken three times by the sound of something heavy and metal being hauled across the floor upstairs, in the stairwell. I thought it must be somebody cleaning (well, I had been asleep!) or a lift. Next day I discovered there wasn't a lift, nobody was cleaning at that time, two other members of the party had heard it and it had been heard at the same time the previous night.
Well, I don't know.

We stayed for four days in this hotel and enjoyed all of them. The breakfast was good, we were on the fourth floor with a wonderful terrace to relax on, the room was clean and well serviced daily. Most importantly all the staff were friendly and helpfull.
After a days touring in rome we always felt like we were "returning home" when we boarded the train for the 25 minute trip to Frascati. This town has all the restuarants you need and how nice it was to join the locals on there evening promanade.
Loved it and would stay nowhere else if we return to Rome.
