We visited in the 2nd week of Easter hols, when French schools had returned. For most of the day we were on our own in the zoo with the animals which was exciting. The zoo is small enough to get round and see everything and feel quite intimate, but there are lots of interesting things to see and get involved with. We say Racoons, penguins, wolves and otters being fed- the otters seemed the most vicious believe it or not. Staff were great and helpful and gave interesting facts. The food was good , for a zoo. Even things like a hall of mirrors was a good laugh. The 'petting' farmyard was brilliant- especially for yound kids. Inexpensive compared to other zoos but really good value and a full day out. Highly recommended for children and adults.
