Several routes to follow, part of GR4 route included on the"Corniche" route. They range from gentle to a little more challenging. Great views and unusual rock formations.

Beautifull lime stone rocks in a dissidous forest about 8 km outside the town centre of Le Vans. One of the many hidden gems in the Ardeche regio. Not to be missed. Put on good walking shoes, it is a bit of a difficult terrain.

We did the sentier de la vierge with our 6 and 9 year old. some parts are over the rocks which they loved. almost al the time in the forest with shade it is also a good walk during hotter days. The sentier de la corniche is longer and less shade -so take enough water and sunscreen!

We did took the green route (de la vierge). A nice one hour walk with the boys, although they don't like walking, they did like this trail. Nice views, fairytale scenery. My 12 year old son even wanted to go back!

This is a lovely and very interesting place. Quite an adventure for the children too, scrambling over the rocks and exploring the wooded glades. There was plenty of flora and fauna to spot too. There are short walks and long walks and we didn't come across too many other people. Unfortunately it started to rain and the rocks got very slippery, so I wouldn't recommend a rocky walk on a rainy day. Take a pic-nic and you could easily while away a day here. It's lovely.
