We stayed here for 3 nights as part of our two week trip round the West Fjords. It was very easy to book via email and we paid on arrival. When we arrived, we were pleasantly surprised to see a little note addressed to us, inviting us to make ourselves at home as the owner was away for a short while - nice touch.

The apartment was spotless, with a well-equipped kitchen area, clean shower room and a comfortable seating area. If anything, it looks better in the flesh than the photos - and they're good. The beds were comfortable, but maybe could do with an extra pillow. I'd thought it might feel a bit claustrophobic in a studio, but there's actually a good amount of space for each 'area' and it worked very well.

Drangsnes is a nice little village, with excellent free hot pots on the shore. We were encouraged to use our provided bathrobes to go down to the pots and it was great fun. There's a nice little supermarket and a petrol pump. It's a handy stopover if you're making a trip to that side of the West Fjords and we were glad that we stayed here.

The owners are very pleasant indeed and were very kind to us. I'd recommend it to anyone who fancies a change from B and Bs and is happy cooking for themselves. It's a very reasonable price and a nice place to stay.
