This waterfall is surrounded by hills and dense forest in a serene setting. God seems to have gifted this liberally to people of Kerala. Spellbinding indeed. The area is very well maintained by Kerala Govt. and neat and clean. Worth the visit.

When you move from Athirapally to Vazhachal, you see this waterfall by the side of road.
Hardly 2 kms from Athirapally. Usually active only during monsoons, at present its in full bloom. There is nothing much to get down from the vehicle, you can see it on the way.

Big waterfalls are surely very scenic but the thing is you can only see them. But the plus point of small waterfalls like charpa is the water droplets comes to you, hugs you. You feel like you are the part of this natural wonder. You are a waterfall. Must visit this small, beautiful waterfall which shower its love upon you

The falls are on the roadside, but amazing, beautiful. Good photo opportunity. Be careful though, there are monkeys around.

This falls is between the famous Athirappilly waterfalls and the Vazhachal waterfalls in the Chalakkudi Valparai Road. Those who visit Vazhachal crosses this falls in the highway. In monsoon the feel of waterfalls can be experienced from the road. Take care of your Camera from being wet.

The waterfall is located very close to Vazachal waterfall when you drive from Athirapally through the forest road. It is a small waterfall (height) and it flows through the main road (under the bridge) but in rainy season, the water flow at its best and the scene is really amazing. You will get drenched in water if you move towards the waterfall on the main road. Easiest part is you can see it from your car. We had visited in monsoon this time and the waterfall is full of water but on earlier occasions when we drove through the forest road, we did not see much water and it was not even looking like a waterfall. Hence, rainy season is the only time when you can see the waterfall. We enjoyed it very much.

This pretty waterfall is on the road between the Athirapilly waterfall and the Vazhachal falls.

There is no entrance / ticket etc. We just stopped our taxi on the road and enjoyed the view and the fine spray from the falls.

We were told that the falls was swollen with water and in all its glory because of the heavy rainfall. During the summer months, apparently, the water dwindles down to a trickle.

So do plan your visit in the monsoon.
