“Someone save Hazarduari”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

Great place to visit during winters....lot to see... learn & dissolve yourself during those periods... all is well BUT the surroundings around such a monument is just pathetic... horses... autos.. pvt. taxis... buses... lorries.. filth....cheap eateries... stalls... Dear caretakers of this ancient heritage... pl. pl. do something to enhance the environment around this place..

A whole lot of things to see - the paintings, the weapon collection etc. transport you to the bygone era.

“The British Era in India had started from here”
Reviewed April 1, 2013

In India, Robert Clive had established British Raj by defeating Siraj Ud Daulah, the Nawab of the then Bengal, Bihar and Odisha whose capital was in Murshidabad. And this palace contains many significant remembrance of that transition period. Also this palace contains thousands of really huge doors, some of which are false. But from a distance, you may not make them out as false. A must visit to complete Indian history.
